Life presents us the opportunity to meet and interact with new people everyday. We should therefore learn to accord respect to whoever we encounter because you might know when you would meet that person's help again.
A woman came to our office to claim her pension benefits of her dead mother with her documents. Upon studying the documents we found out that some of them were duplicates so we asked her to go and the originals of those documents and submit them. But she seemed not to understand us so we called one of our elderly officials to explain it to her. But this acted rudely towards him though the man was trying to help her out. She eventually gave in and went for the originals of documents we requested for.
So after registering the documents and taking her details, we supposed to hand it over to the appropriate office for them to compute the benefits and pay it out to the beneficiaries. It happened that the man the woman whom the man treated rudely was the one who was to compute the benefits and facilitate the payment since he was in charge of the office which computes the benefits of all pensioners of the region from where the deceased retired.
The woman after finding out came to apologise. So brethren no matter how right you feel your opinion is, there is always a right way to communicate it.
