노트북에 SSD를 달았습니다.
과연 SSD가 HDD에 비해 얼마나 좋은지 몇 가지 확인해 보았습니다.
내장HDD 외장SSD
USB3.0을 지원하는 외장하드케이스에 SSD를 넣고 OS를 설치했습니다.
내장HDD보다 빨라졌지만 몇 가지 단점이 생겼습니다.
- 외장하드케이스에 따라서 SSD로 인식하기도 HDD로 인식하기도 합니다.
- 외장하드는 구조상의 문제로 내장하드보다 느립니다.
- 외장하드는 USB가 뽑힐 위험이 있고, 뽑히면 바이오스에 들어가서 순서를 바꾸어 주어야 합니다.
내장SSD 외장HDD
SSD를 내부로 옮겼습니다. 용량이 줄었네요.ㅜㅜ
외장SSD보다 더 빨라지고 몇 가지 장점이 생겼습니다.
- 속도가 빠릅니다.
- 컴퓨터가 무조건 SSD를 인식합니다.
- 소음이 없습니다.

부팅시간은 윈도우가 부팅되어 크롬으로 네이버홈까지 열리는 시간
cf) 이론적으로 SATA3는 6Gbps, USB3.0은 5Gbps 이지만 외장하드에 전력을 공급해야하므로 USB3.0은 속도를 전부 사용할 수가 없습니다.
헉 부팅시간까지 체크가 가능하군요 ㅎㅎㅎ
부팅시간은 체감이 큰 부분이라 , 직접 제었습니다.
