My name is Wendy and this is my daughter Kelly
I started my degree in Public 2015 at the University of East London. For me it has been an emotional and exhausting journey in my life living as a refugee in UK. My dream has always been to work with refugees who have been in similar situations as myself. i decided to enroll on a degree in Public Health which would open doors for me to step into the career i have passion for. I started with an Extended year which prepared me to an undergraduate program. I worked very hard and passed and was able to get into a Public Health Degree at my university.Everyday i worked hard to get closer to my dream.
I am a single mum to my a lovely 9 year old daughter. i have managed study and work and being a mum at the same time. However, I am now stuck with my uncertainties of completing my degree.

I am now stuck being unable to get tuition fee funding because of eligibility critirea.
Until now l have worked tirelessly as a single mother to try and raise my daughter as well as work to cover other living expenses and now the demand and pressure for my course means I am now unable to continue working which means not being able to raise money for my tuition and also living expenses.
I am now in my second term of which l have exams and if i am unable to raise funds to finish this year. My course will be terminated. However,if l show my university that l am trying to raise funds for my tuition l might be able to be given more time to be able to raise the funds.
Between the last years l have worked hard to attain good grades to show passion for my degree and future career. This journey has been mostly long and difficult for me and my daughter.
To lose it all now will be so crushing as i am continuously working against all odds to achieve a better life and future for myself and my daughter by empowering myself through education.
i love what l do and all i have achieved during my course.I am not giving up.
This why l have come out here on this platform asking for any help.
please help if you can. It has taken me weeks to come out in the public this way it is not easy.
