So I have already posted a few blogs to Steemit, but I haven't really introduced myself. My name is Samantha. I am currently 22 years old. I love to workout and travel. I love looking for great deals. I buy and resell as a part time job. It is a hobby and a passion. I really enjoy dancing although I've never had any training.
I live in the south suburbs of Chicago. I lived in Cancun, Mexico for almost 3 years. I plan on taking trips there frequently. I hate the cold, and everyone knows Chicago is known for their harsh winters. Some of my favorite vacations spots have been Costa Rica and Nicaragua. I am not afraid to try anything. I have been volcano surfing, rappelling, bungee jumping, zip lining, canyoning, the list goes on!

I really need to learn how to size my photos because they're all huge! I have a large family. My parents each have 6 siblings. I have 3 brothers. I usually go out with my cousins every week. They are my best friends. if anyone has any questions or suggestions for me, please leave a comment down below. Do you mainly buy and resell locally or do you use platforms like eBay and Amazon?
I used to do some of that and it helped me start my current business so I'm usually curious about the subject.
I use eBay! I started using an app callled OfferUp which is local pick-up, but I haven't had any sales on it yet. EBay never fails me! My dad actually owns a wholesaling business and does what I do but with merchandise and on a much larger scale.
OfferUp is a new one to me. I've heard about Facebook's local marketplace recently but never tried it. eBay is a good mainstay though. I didn't understand how it worked when I first sold on eBay circa 2001 and I shipped the first product I sold before the payment arrived. They guy never paid me. Funny now but no so much then.
Well OfferUp hasn't worked for me yet so I am sticking with eBay. That's a funny eBay story :'D Luckily, I have had my mom to guide me, as she has been selling since 2000!
