In the days of blockchains, bitcoins and authoritarian governments, simple shitposting is the revolutionary act.

Hello there, Steemit and wonderful Steemians! My account was finally fucking approved and can finally introduce myself. If you haven’t seen my content before, my name is Bailey T. Steen™, also going by the username “atheist.cunt” or some other variation, and I am a fellow Facebook exile!

What does that mean? Well, working as one of them politically incorrect journalists, editors and film critics — published on outlets such as TrigTent.com, Newslogue.com and JanksReviews.com — who hates extremists and loves memes, I was considered a problematic figure in the eyes of Facebook editorialists… resulting in an unexplained permanent ban from FB.

Yes, me, the 20-something year old liberal-libertarianish writer, sporting a humble friends list of maybe 500 people from the left and right, being considered so dangerous that I can’t just be given the month long naughty corner ban to learn my lesson. No, I had to be removed entirely.

Served unsubstantiated claims of “supporting violent and/or criminal organisations” despite my reporting attacking hateful groups in the alt-right and warmongering neoliberal left, speaking “hate speech” considered haram by radicals in Facebook’s Church of Offended Peaceful Religions™ and branded fake news because I dare question the mainstream narratives.

Currently, I have made one original account and seven back ups which have all be crushed by their all-seeing employees or algorithm that hit me as soon as I add an old friend I had on my previous friends list. 

What. A. Joke.

“Displays of violence against people or animals”?? How could they even put me in that category?? I’m always happy to show my dog (who’s in good health)!!

“Violating Facebook’s Statement of Rights and Responsibilities”? No, it was Facebook and other social media companies of the like that gave up their responsibilities, sucking the governmental cock of the establishment with promises upon promises to crack down on the Clinton-coined “fake news”. 

Such an innocuous term has completely changed the landscape for journalists and content creators I’ve come to admire and consider indie-media colleagues — the likes of hagoodman, caitlinjohnstone, Tim Black, Hard Bastard, Styxhexenhammer666, Sargon of Akkad, elizbethleavos, suzi3d, Secular Talk, The Jimmy Dore Show, Atheism-is-Unstoppable — you can just go down the list of credible, successful voices in the alternative space put in financial danger over simple hysteria. 

Us truth-seeking voices have no stable home on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, any of these monopolised platforms with corporate interests and government strangeholds. These outlets have an incentive to silence dissidents who oppose cry babies on all levels of society, corporate and government. They have an interest in keeping the blockchain and crypto world small. They have an interest in the state and multi-nationals keeping an eye on what you say as not to offend the wrong religion (faith is just politics plus fantasy), the wrong kinds of racists, the wrong kind of sexists, the wrong kind of people who don’t like you because of sexual orientation or your natural born gender. They have an interest in spreading the factually problematic Russian-hacking narrative — which outlets like TrigTent among others have debunked — that allow them to take more and more capital. 

These are not our friends.... which is where Steemit and DTube come in… 

Serving as our social media and information black market that actually cares for the creator, the curator and the people… and I can’t be more excited to use it for myself.Through TrigTent, Medium, Gab.ai, and, now, this beautiful website without the overbearing sensitivity gestapo alongside their STEEM meritocratic system of crypto, I hope to end the status quo of silence and suffering through my journalism. And I hope you find merit in there too as we move forward. 

I truly want to thank @Suzi3D and @caitlinjohnstone for introducing me to this new platform and to see how it goes for both quality and, so I can live, revenue. I’m an Australian who loves America (despite all its faults), a liberal that hates neoliberal corruption, and a radical who hates modern day extremists. My readers can be either nonpartisan or outright crazy, but I love you all the same. As long as we can discuss, promising we want to find the truth together, then we’re A-Okay. Don’t expect me to apologise if I say something controversial. I only apologise if I see my facts are wrong.
