Qatar: The State of Qatar also has lent a helping hand to Kerala that has been devastated by the flood. The Qatar administration will provide a sum of Rs 35 crore for the rehabilitation of flood victims. Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani officially informed the news.
He had sent a message to President Ram Nath Kovind the other day expressing deep condolence over the disaster. He also wished in the message that Kerala be able to survive the disaster as soon as possible.
Qatar prime minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani also had sent a message to Indian prime minister Narendra Modi conveying his condolences to the relatives of the deceased.
Qatar Charity has gathered a huge amount of money for disaster relief activities. The amount will be helpful for rehabilitating about 60,000 people. Qatar Charity has directed its representative in India in this regard.
