Fear is a killer, it ruins a life, it makes us uncomfortable, it can't let us achieve our goal. But we have some sort of fear, don't we?
Do you ever give it a thought to deal with your fear? Or you are the one who tries to hide it and run away from it?
If you are the second person, maybe it's time you can give it a try to overcome your fear. We have so many types of fear but some of the commons are public speaking, social communication, bullying, harassment, fear of getting rejected and so many. I'm not talking about the phobia, you can see that. Because, the two things are a bit different. So, how come you befriend your fear?
It is very important to make the first time as positive as possible. A person needs to be very aware of what he/she means with this fear. He/she may use fear as a motivation but when you get to know your fear or what it's doing, you might feel something different.
let yourself be comfortable. If you don't have the option to leave your apartment let your nerves melt away by running up and down your stairway, watching the other people through your door. Let your guard down. Don't let fear rule you to the point where you won't run. Be comfortable that you can run but being comfortable is all the comfort you need.
The first thing Don't run away from it. Don't hide it. Accept your fear and say yourself that it's normal to feel uneasy on certain thing but you can overcome it.
Figure out how can you improve yourself. It helps passively to overcome fears.
Take action. Don't hide, face it and act on it. Only sitting with our fears mean we are letting it take a big shape.
Practice what makes you fight better with the fear. Include those things in your daily life. If you are afraid of bullying; learn how to fight them back, learn self-defense, take legal action and whatever it takes to deal with that.
We are afraid to be left out, worried at the thoughts we have, worried for the outcome of what we will do, worried in a bad way that the things we fear can come out of our heads. We are afraid of 'the problem' and worrying if we make it seem like it is real and we can't make it disappear. We are afraid of the feeling that we cannot control ourselves and are powerless to do anything to change it.
I have seen many of my friends changed over time. They became more confident, smart and a better human. The one thing they changed first is they deal with their fear and overcome it by the time. So, it's not actually impossible. You can do some research on what can help you in what cases. And work on it. It sounds simple but I know it's actually hard. So, don't make it harder and don't let the monster become huge.

The funny thing is that a lot of our fears are fears of someone else that made a really good job passing them to us
