This doll was made as a gift to my son's gymnastics trainer.
She is a nice woman with blonde hair, and when we saw that girl in the market, we had an idea to make it for her.
The thing is it wasn't a ready made doll, it was just a set of things that can be used for making it.
There was a detailed instruction inside, and we followed it to reach the goal.
The task was a little bit more complex than I expected, and at first my son was scared he wouldn't be able to finish it ever, but I calmed him that it was very easy (though I didn't think so;).
Moms often should be "walls" to support their kids even if they are full of doubts as well;)
So we started.
We had threads inside, many different decorations, beads, flowers and some pins for connecting details.
Threads were the manin "ingredient" for the doll, and we brushed them carefully.
Then using balls and threads we created a body and a head
Then we added hair
It's the start of the hat
It was very cute and easy to make, we liked it the most:)
The hat had decorations as well
Some flowers for her hands
ready!

A hairdress and pins for the hair
and painting of eyes...
Ready at last!
We spent more than 1 hour for the doll, but we liked the result
The trainer was touched by such a gift;)
That is so cute! He did such a great job! Congrats on finishing it!
thank you so much!! ;) it was not easy yeah;))
I love the stars in her hair! Is it a tradition to give dolls in Russia? I have read about Ukrainian culture doing it. Good job Mother and Son! His gymnastics teacher will be touched 😺🥲
no, dear Sis, it's not a tradition now. Early such handmade dolls really were a part of Slavic culture, a very important and symbolic part, now unfortunately this tradition is lost. But I know about its roots and symbols, so I like handmade dolls. This one was something new for me and my son, and the doll really looks like that woman so we bought it:)
how are you, my dear?? I was absent for some weeks here because of some sad events for me, but now I try to return to my life and I missed my friends here.
I'm sorry hearing you're going through sad times, sending you lots of hugs 🤗 Things are ok here, warming up outside which is nice.
Congratulations, you received an ecency upvote through the curator @sahi1. Keep spreading love through ecency
thanks, guys!
Welcome 😊
Wow, nice efforts,
Beautiful doll.
This is really beautiful
Ah what a great job from your son! I’ve seen those craft your own type things more frequently and I think it’s great for the kiddos to have that versus something already put together. Nice job!
thanks;) handmade things are the best for our skills development
