THE SECOND DOSE

in COVID-193 years ago (edited)

I spent some time in the city today because it was time to get a second dose of the Pfizer vaccine, a dose that will allow me to enter places like post offices and banks.

This is the vaccination place on the outskirts of the city. This time I didn't have to wait long like a month ago when I was waiting in front of the same building to get the first dose.

This is the piece of paper that I got with that first dose. I had it with me today while waiting for the second one. After taking this photograph an hour ago, I threw it in the garbage can.

Last time there was a long line of people in front of this place. Today, only a couple of them. It all went quick, smooth, and easy.

This photograph was taken about ten minutes before, on the way from my hometown to the city.

The vapor coming out of the General hospital looked pretty cool and photogenic, so I stopped by the road to take a few shots. The building looked a bit like the Titanic sailing behind the pine trees.

The suburban houses of the neighboring neighborhood also looked good enough to be photographed.

This lovely little garbage truck was photographed near the vaccination place before I got the injection.

After the vaccination, on my way to the car ...

... I noticed this gang of seagulls.

The birds looked at home in the city ...

... especially around the garbage cans.

Before driving back home I took also another portrait of the General hospital. This time from the small parking lot across the street from the vaccination place.

A couple of hours later, in my hometown ...

img_1153_malo.jpg

... I was walking towards the pharmacy near the main square.

There I finally got this Certificate. The day was mostly cloudy. Not too cold but pretty humid. I felt almost no side effects from the vaccination. Just the arm hurt a bit, but nothing worth mentioning. I feel the same now, while I'm writing this post.

This is a detail from the house across the street from the pharmacy. It's good to have some sunflowers around when the day is gray and cloudy, with no sun in sight.

img_1154_malo.jpg

This is a detail from the facade of the pharmacy. I took this photograph mainly because of that upside-down traffic sign in the right corner of the picture.

img_1155_malo.jpg

From the other side, the sign doesn't look upside down. :D Pure magic.

That's it. I have nothing more to say. As always in these posts on HIVE, the photographs are my work - THE END.

That is so ridiculous! But hey, gotta do what you gotta do.

True :)

What good news that you have given yourself the second dose, it means that you are a little more protected, now we are talking about a third dose due to the appearance of the new variantHello dear friend @borjan good afternoon

How beautiful is your hometown, I love how the walls have stone fronts, that's how my wife wants for our house.

I appreciate the beautiful pictures, especially of the sunflowers, I am a fan of these flowers

Have a nice afternoon

Yes, houses with a bit of stone have a certain character. You have some great, real sunflowers there :) that's even better than having them on the facade.

What sunflowers can be made for oil? Here I only consume as nuts.

those same seeds are put in the sun and oil is extracted with a grain extractor, you must try it

Good, I'll try it when the opportunity arises.

Yay! 🤗

Super confirmation is that the seagulls are rejoicing and the weather is great for going into nature ;))

I guess your country takes vaccination very serious or you just want to take the second vaccination before going to banks and post offices.

Yes, these days it's taken more seriously than before. Currently, I can go to many places, post offices, and banks ad example, only if vaccinated or tested. It seemed more convenient to take the vaccine once and go wherever I need.

it turns out that you are very routinely injecting the vaccine every month, whereas until now I have never even injected the vaccine,

Hehehehehee I'm starting to look like a vaccine junkie 😎

Congrats! I had a sore arm as well. I was super tired and lethargic after I got my second dose as well. I just wanted to sleep all day. That happened the day after the shot though and then I was fine the next day.

Yes :) I'm still a bit more lethargic than usual. And since I have nothing urgent to do, it's not a wholly unpleasant feeling, actually.

It's really nice taking us there through pictures. Keep up the good work.

Yes, When viewed from afar, the public hospital does look like a titanic ship that is sailing. Haha
