Since last year until now, I've been looking forward to working as a freelance copywriter. This skill is the most suitable for my capability because I'm currently getting my marketing manager degree and have good writing skills. I've honed my writing skills over the past few years, and most of my professors were amazed at how good I am at my writing skills. However, I still seek a job on different freelancing sites and feel I'm missing out. Do you think I can find a job for only 30 days? Let's find out.

Last January 2023, I came across an ad on Facebook and I am enticed to buy from them since you can already buy top-rated courses for only ₱349.00. I feel bad that they've already closed the offer, but anyway. The low price enticed me to buy several guides to start my journey as a copywriter. You can search for those courses on Udemy, and I'm surprised that they have high ratings. Among all the courses available, the second one is the best to focus on. His storytelling technique is a chef's kiss, and his lesson is highly relevant to me as a marketing student. Because of his easy-to-follow steps, I became highly dedicated but still had difficulty pitching my skills into my clients. Here are the reasons why:

  • Lack of Time: If there's a thing I could blame for this, it would be my studies and laziness. I can insert upskilling into my busy schedule, but indolence has significantly hindered me. Instead of upskilling, I would lie in bed and watch senseless TikTok videos.
  • Not Finishing It Entirely. One of my mistakes to the thought about why I still don't have a client right now is that I didn't finish it until the last part. I became overconfident that I wouldn't need to read them because I can learn it along the way. However, after skimming the latter, I realized that I have done something stupid.

If those factors became a hindrance in completing my copywriting journey, don't worry. I already have enough time to accomplish it and learn from my mistakes. From now on, I promise that I will not be timid and I will finish the course sooner. If my academics are your concern, I'm happy to tell you that I completed my second-year journey as a marketing student two weeks ago. This means that I have more time to upskill.

To begin this journey, I created my reviewer yesterday and plotted the lessons and activities that I need to do each day. I also bought a binder notebook that will serve as my buddy in mastering the lesson. I'll receive it by tomorrow, so I'm confident I can finally start this weekend. If you wonder if I'll do this day by day, I definitely will not. However, you can check my latest updates on Tangled to see my progress.

I am motivated to complete this course because it's one of the highest-paying skills that I can do. It is also relevant to my program as a marketing management student, and I feel that my greatest strength is my writing skills. My ability to tell a story might not be as good as other bloggers', but I believe I won't make this article far without consistency. See you!
