Good afternoon, dear friends!

Yesterday, Sunday, was a day to visit my parents, who live in the countryside. The day was scorching hot, with temperatures close to 40 degrees here in southern Brazil.

In my mother’s yard, there are many beautiful flowers, and I took the chance to snap some photos. Despite the intense heat, they remained stunning. In the afternoon, the sky became cloudy, and at night a heavy rain brought relief, probably for the flowers too.

Visits to my parents' house always give me interesting photo opportunities, as I’ve shared in several posts here. However, I had never focused so much on the flowers before. Yesterday, it was their day to shine.

I hope you like it! 🌸

Boa tarde, queridos amigos!

Apesar do calor intenso, elas continuavam exuberantes.

Que bonitas flores, parecen artificiales.

Wow 🤫, I've never heard of an eleven hour flower before. Good to learn something new. The images are so colourful.

I felt sorry for her because it was so hot.
Then I read on Google that she loves scorching sun 😂

This is her name here in Brazil.
Maybe she has a different name in your country. 😄😄

Oh wow. Good to know.
