Hello #Hive photography lovers!... Some of you may know that my country (Venezuela) is going through complicated days politically and socially, so every day becomes a struggle to maintain as much normality as possible and not fall into despair.... So, at times like these, sitting in front of my PC and picking out a handful of photos to process and share with you on #Hive, becomes even more important than usual, as the time invested in this activity is a necessary balm to keep me focused.... So I invite you to take a look at these photos taken in the natural environments around me!

¡Hola amantes de la fotografía en #Hive!... Quizás algunos de ustedes sabrán que en mi país (Venezuela) se están viviendo días complicados en lo relativo a lo político y a lo social, así que cada día se convierte en una lucha por mantener la mayor cantidad de normalidad y no caer en la desesperación... Entonces, en momentos como estos, sentarme en frente de mi PC y escoger un puñado de fotos para procesarlas y compartirlas con ustedes en #Hive, se convierte en algo aún más importante que de costumbre, pues el tiempo invertido en esta actividad es un bálsamo necesario para mantenerme centrado y equilibrado... Así que los invito a mirar estas fotos hechas en los entornos naturales a mi alrededor!

These photos were taken during the month of July, which ends today... I have been visiting the natural spaces around my village with the aim of taking advantage of the abundance of plant and animal species, which multiply exponentially during the rainy months... For these photographic walks I always carry a zoom lens with me (basically a 55-300mm focal range lens that I keep in my backpack) or I can also make use of 50mm and 100mm fixed lenses... In recent months I have been experimenting with combining the 50mm with a Raynox DCR-150 zoom lens, those of you who regularly follow my content (thanks for that guys) will have already seen many of my photos made with that optical combination... For this post I have selected photos taken with all those lenses mentioned before and you can see in the parameters placed at the bottom of them the focal length used and other settings.

Estas fotos fueron hechas a lo largo de este mes de Julio el cual culmina hoy precisamente... He estado visitando los espacios naturales alrededor de mi pueblo con el objetivo de aprovechar la abundancia de especies vegetales y animales, las cuales se multiplican de manera exponencial durante los meses de lluvia... Para estas caminatas fotográficas suelo llevar siempre un lente zoom conmigo (básicamente uno con rango focal 55-300mm que tengo en mi mochila) o también puedo hacer uso de lentes fijos de 50mm y 100mm... En meses recientes he estado experimentando combinar el 50mm con una lentilla de acercamiento Raynox DCR-150, aquellos de ustedes que siguen regularmente mi contenido (gracias por eso chicos) ya habrán visto muchas de mis fotos hechas con esa combinación óptica... Para este post he seleccionado fotos hechas con todos esos objetivos mencionados antes y pueden ver en los parámetros colocados al pie de ellas la distancia focal usada y otros ajustes.

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.

NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografías capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.
