Hello friends, how are you? Thanks to the things I have invented and made at home, a friend who recently arrived to the Island, told me that he wanted to do some repairs in his house and asked me if I could help him. I saw my time and decided to jump into the abyss and help him.

The truth is that everything he wants to do, I have only done one thing which is the railing, the rest, will be putting heart and effort to make it the best possible. The things we will do are: change some pieces of the floating floor, change the baseboards, put a railing on the stairs and put some decorative plastic panels.

Today we start with the floor, which is the most important thing. It was just to change some pieces, and although we ended up changing and fixing more than expected, at least it was worth it because many pieces were bulging due to the humidity of so many years.

La verdad que todo lo que quiere hacer, solo he hecho una cosa que es la baranda, de resto, será poniéndole corazón y esfuerzo para que quede lo mejor posible. Las cosas que haremos serán: cambiar unas piezas del piso flotante, cambiar los rodapiés, colocar una baranda en la escalera y poner unos paneles plásticos decorativos.

Hoy empezamos con el piso que es lo más importante. Solo era cambiar algunas piezas, y aunque terminamos cambiando y arreglando más de lo esperado, por lo menos valió la pena porque muchas piezas estaban abombadas por la humedad de tantos años.

Tomorrow we will be putting up the baseboard, which I really liked because it is made of PVC, and it is much better and breaks less.

For the floor, I used a jigsaw to cut the pieces and a cutter in case I needed to remove some edges. It was a somewhat complex job because the pieces were not very good and besides that, I had to complete them and not put them all from the beginning and it is even more difficult because they are like an assemblable.

El día de mañana estaremos colocando el rodapiés que me gustó mucho porque es de PVC, y es mucho mejor y se rompe menos.

Para el piso, usé Caladora para cortar las piezas y un cutter por si necesitaba quitar unos bordes. Fue un trabajo algo complejo porque las piezas no estaban muy bien y además de eso, era completarlas más no poner todas de un principio y es más difícil aún ya que son como un armable.
