God calls us to serve, we know when it begins but not when it ends, it has no end.
6 For I am already ready to be sacrificed, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day; and not to me only but also to all who love his appearing.
2 Timothy 4:6-8
There are many people who, while working throughout their lives, think about that day when they will retire, they believe that they will only dedicate themselves to leisure, it is something similar to the work of God, some think that at some point in their life they will stop serving and will only dedicate themselves to leisure. But this is not what God has planned for us. God wants us to serve until the last of our days!
In the Bible we have many examples and one of them is the apostle Paul, he is an example of dedication and service to other people. For this we can simply look at the letter written to Timothy, just before Paul is executed, this is another example of service even when we believe that that moment is over, God calls us to service constantly.
Paul is an example of dedication and service until the end of his life. Through his writings we can understand his mind regarding this:
12 Therefore, brothers, I urge you, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing to God, which is your spiritual worship.
Romans 12:1
The Apostle Paul is an example of faith since he let God determine the next step in his life, until when the last day on earth would be, not even death produced any kind of fear since his life was productive with respect to service to God and the work. Paul knew that death was just the next step to be close to Jesus for eternity.
God not only encourages us to have a successful life, He gives us all the resources to achieve it, to live in fullness and end much better, to walk victoriously in this life until the last day serving others to live eternally with Jesus, now let's think about this: If God called us today, are we sure we are living well?

Dios nos hace un llamado a servir, sabemos cuando inicia pero no cuando termina, no tiene fin.
6 Porque yo ya estoy para ser sacrificado, y el tiempo de mi partida está cercano. 7 He peleado la buena batalla, he acabado la carrera, he guardado la fe. 8 Por lo demás, me está guardada la corona de justicia, la cual me dará el Señor, juez justo, en aquel día; y no solo a mí, sino también a todos los que aman su venida.

Existen muchas personas que mientras trabajan a lo largo de su vida piensan en ese día en que se jubilarán, creen que solo se dedicarán al ocio, es algo similar a la obra de Dios, algunos piensan que en un momento de su vida dejarán de servir y solo se dedicarán al ocio. Pero esto no es lo que Dios ha planeado para nosotros. Dios desea que sirvamos hasta el último de nuestros días!.
En la biblia tenemos muchísimos ejemplos y uno de ellos es el del apóstol Pablo, es un ejemplo de dedicación y servicio hacia las demás personas. Para ello simplemente podemos contemplar la carta escrito a Timoteo, justo antes de que Pablo sea ejecutado, este es otro ejemplo de servicio aún cuando creemos que ese momento ya terminó, Dios nos llama al servicio constantemente.
Pablo es un ejemplo de entrega y servicio hasta lo último en su vida. mediante sus escritos podemos entender su mente con respecto a esto:
12 Así que, hermanos, os ruego por las misericordias de Dios, que presentéis vuestros cuerpos en sacrificio vivo, santo, agradable a Dios, que es vuestro culto racional.
Romanos 12:1
El Apóstol Pablo es un ejemplo de fe ya que dejeba que Dios determine el siguiente paso en su vida, hasta cuando sería el último día sobre la tierra, ni aún la muerte le producía algún tipo de temor ya que su vida era productiva con respecto al servicio a Dios y la obra. Pablo sabía que la muerte era solo el siguiente paso para estar cerca de Jesús por la eternidad.
Dios no solo nos inta a que tengamos una vida exitosa, nos dota de todos los recursos para lograrlo, que vivamos en plenitud y terminemo mucho mejor, que en esta vida caminemos victoriosos hasta el último día sirviendo a los demás para vivir eternamente con Jesús, ahora pensemos en esto: ¿Si Dios nos llamara hoy, estamos seguros de estar viviendo Bien?.
