Hello, my friend Marcos @marcosmilano71. That's quite a fascinating church! Although it's in a state of deterioration, you can still notice the gorgeous intricacies of the Church of the Servants of the Blessed Sacrament of Caracas overflowing with its Neo-Gothic architectural style. Its majestic interiors also display the flamboyant ornamentations that would surely amaze churchgoers. The ceilings and roods, though equally impressive, really need immediate repair, and it's frustrating for works of art like those elements to be left to decay. As you said, it's unacceptable, and I agree. It's definitely a disappointing outcome for that religious building to be neglected in ruins. Isn't that supposed to be a significant landmark of Venezuela, even holding the prestigious name of the National Expiatory Shrine?

El estado en el que se encuentra el Santuario Nacional Expiatorio es deplorable, mi esposa y yo cuando lo visitamos notamos su majestuosidad pero también observamos con tristeza el abandono en el que está. Ese lugar es la prueba de que las autoridades solo atienden lo que se ve, me refiero a las edificaciones del centro de la ciudad, pero este Santuario está en un lugar no visible y poco frecuentado por turistas. Recibe un fuerte y caluroso abrazo espiritual cargado de bendiciones, energía positiva y mucha luz.

The state in which the National Expiatory Shrine is located is deplorable, my wife and I when we visited it we noticed its majesty but we also observed with sadness the abandonment in which it is. That place is proof that the authorities only attend to what is seen, I mean the buildings of the city center, but this Sanctuary is in a place not visible and little frequented by tourists. Receive a strong and warm spiritual embrace full of blessings, positive energy and lots of light.

    Definitely. It's high time for architectural masterpieces like that splendid church to be revived to their former glory. We hope that your local government or private entities would pay attention and consider that significant religious building in their financial budgets for proper restoration, conservation, and maintenance.
