Hi there to all of you. I haven't updated my blog with you in a long time. I've been so busy with school, but now that I'm finally catching up, I'm ready to talk about all the weird stuff that's been happening. Prepare yourself for an exciting journey through my week, complete with anxious moments, late-night studying sessions, and a few shocking revelations!

OCT 7. MON
Today, our class in CCS started at 9 am, so I woke up early to freshen myself up. We were having an online class today because our professor is in Manila to attend an important event. And today our lesson was all about grammar, and he gave us an activity in which we act like a call centre, and I was so nervous and excited at the same time. He put our names on a list and shuffled it to a website. And my number is 12. The others that came first did a good job; they really sound like a call center. And it was finally my turn. I was so nervous, and I think I misspell because I was so nervous. But overall, I did a good job as a first-timer. After that activity, our class ended. Since I'm also a 3rd year IT student in the evening, I started to work on our thesis or research because we need it to pass on Wednesday. And at 4 pm, I went to our school, and nothing fun happened. Our class usually ends at 8 pm, and our professors just discussed some lessons, and we went home.

OCT 8. TUESDAY
Our CCS prof did not meet today; he just gave us activities to do because he had a meeting that he needed to attend. So I just tried to finish our research, but as someone who didn't get to experience research before because of the COVID, I'm having a hard time knowing if what I'm writing is right or wrong. So my classmate and I agreed that I would go to their house so that we could brainstorm together and we could finish our chapter 1 in thesis because two heads are better than one right. But unfortunately the WiFi in there is not functioning well, so we tried our best to finish it without the internet, and we briefly survived. It took us all night to finish our thesis, and after that, I went home. Lesson learnt: do not cram your thesis.

OCT 9. WEDNESDAY
This is the day that our research professor will check our work, and he just told us to send the file on to our GC, and he will return it with corrections. And today I have 2 reports, but I couldn't report on our workshop subject because we ran out of time, but at least on the other subject I get to report, and I was so nervous because my part on the PowerPoint was so hard that I might not explain it well to our classmates. But thankfully I survived and was relieved at the same time because I got to cross out one of my activity lists. And after we finished our report, we went home.

OCT 10 Thursday
Today I forgot to review our lessons, and today is the day that our major professor will have an oral test. So I quickly searched for the ppt and cram. Thankfully, our CCS professor will not meet us that day, so I used that time to study for the oral later. And then the time comes: 7 p.m. We went to our room for our major subject, and we were so nervous about the oral. We were worried we might not be able to answer the questions and ended up with zero points. But thankfully we were able to manage it. It was so nerve-wracking because you don't know you're going to get called. Our professor asked us to pass a 1/4 paper with our names on it, and he will randomly choose a paper, and the owner of that paper will answer his questions. We were so nervous, but we managed to get through it. Out of 50, my score is 30; at least I got 3 questions correct, and I'm satisfied with it. After that, he just announced that he's not going to meet us next week; it's our preparation for the midterm week on Oct. 21-25, and then he dismissed us after that.

OCT 11 FRIDAY
Today we don't have a class because of the orientation, but we were required to go there. The orientation starts at 10 am, and we got there around 9 am. All 3rd year were required, but not all of my classmates were attending, and me and my friend only attended because of the attendance. The orientation starts, and we were looking for the attendance sheet so that we can go home because the weather is so hot. After looking everywhere, we found the attendance and filled it up, and then we went home. But there's a plot twist after the orientation; they give a mogogo or a tumbler to the students, and sadly, because we go home, we didn't get it, and we were regretful because of it.

OCT 12 SATURDAY
Today i went to the primetech to finish our group presentation, i arrived there at 8 pm and my other groupmate are already there we just waiting for the other members to come. Our prof assigned each group a product and for our group its insurance. We need to present it with its features, advantages and benefits. We were cramming our presentation cause today is the only day we get to perform it and it was hilarious cause we were in a hurry and other group were already done presenting through gmeet and thankfully we were able to catch up and present it to our prof. Our prof even made a comment that our presentation was the kind of presentation that he was looking for and we were so happy because of that even if we did everything in hurry it was a success. After that we go to our separate ways.

Finally, my week is over. From the anxiety of working in a contact centre to the relief of passing the oral test, it was undoubtedly an emotional roller coaster. Particularly about the significance of not rushing for deadlines, I learnt a lot. Though there will undoubtedly be more obstacles and experiences, I'm looking forward to a more laid-back week. Keep checking back for further details!
