Hello greetings to all readers, from @theindicators, how are you, i hope all are fine. and i am also good.

This story looks small but meaning is very deep. It is not only for children, also for adults. Kindness, love and feeling are not for age, anyone can learn. This story reminds us that to change the world, not always big power or big money is needed. Sometimes only a soft heart and clean intention is enough.

The story starts from a beach. Morning time, soft sunlight everywhere. After night strong waves, many starfish are lying on the sand. Water has gone back and starfish are stuck. If they stay there, soon they will die. Many people see this scene but just look and move on. They think there are too many starfish, who can save all of them.

On the same beach, a small child is walking slowly. After few steps, he bends, picks one starfish and throws it back into the sea. Again he walks, again he does the same. Beach is long and starfish are many, still he keeps doing it. An old man stops and watches. He says to the child, what are you doing? There are thousands of starfish, you cannot save all. Your small effort will not change anything.

The child stops for a moment. He looks at the starfish in his hand. Then he throws it into the sea gently. After that he looks at the old man and says simple words, for this one, it changed everything. This one line is the soul of the story. It teaches us that if we cannot do everything, it does not mean we should do nothing.

This story teaches children that kindness is not counted by numbers, it is counted by intention. If one child saves one starfish, for that starfish the whole world is changed. Same in our life, many people are waiting for little attention, one good word, one help or one smile. We think these things are small, but for someone else they can mean everything.

Here kindness is shown in action, not in talks. The child does not wait for praise, does not ask permission, he just does what feels right. This is real kindness. It is quiet but very strong. It does not make noise but its effect stays long.

For children, such stories leave deep impact. It teaches them not to think they are weak. Even if they are small, even if they have less power or resources, still they can bring light in someone’s life. This thinking later helps them become better humans. Humans who do not only think about themselves but also feel others pain.

This story is also mirror for adults. Many times we say problem is too big, what can one person do. But truth is big changes always start from small steps. If every person starts doing one small good thing according to his ability, then those problems which look impossible slowly become possible.

The most beautiful part of this story is hope. It tells us that even one light is enough against darkness. It is not necessary to help everyone, but ignoring the one we can help is also a choice. And this story teaches us what choice is right.

In the end, this story takes us to the idea that children should hear such stories. Stories that make heart soft and thinking strong. Platforms like Kahanify work for this purpose. These stories are not only for entertainment but also for learning. They plant seeds of humanity, feeling and responsibility in children. With time, these seeds can grow into strong trees.

That is why the story of starfish and kindness is not just a story. It is a lesson. A reminder that if everyone tries a little, even impossible things can become possible.

@theindicators. On your first post in The Ink Well we shared our welcome resource with you. It appears that you have chosen not to read our FAQs and guidelines or to heed our requests.

This is not a short story but a retelling and moral analysis of a very well-known parable often called “The Starfish Story” (popularised by Loren Eiseley). The core narrative is clearly not original. This is not what our community is about. The post in itself, even if it had been a short story, does not meet our minimum word count which was shared with you last week. You have also not supported any other writers in the community.

I am surprised that you went from your first Ink Well post being barely readable, to this far more eloquent piece. Please could you explain why and how this has happened.

We also still require you to write a Hive intro post (NOT in The Ink Well).

@theinkwell Okay, I'll create my introduction post, update it, and share the link with you.

Kindly also reply to the question raised on the step change in the eloquence in your posts, and commit to becoming acquainted with our guidelines and abiding by them if you wish to submit stories to the community. Thank you.

@theinkwell Thank you for pointing this out.

Regarding the noticeable step change in the eloquence of my recent posts, I understand why it raised questions. I have been making a conscious effort to improve my writing by practicing more, revising my work carefully, and learning from feedback. This has naturally led to a change in tone and clarity compared to my earlier submissions. There was no intention to misrepresent my work; it reflects growth and increased attention to structure and language.

I also acknowledge the importance of your community guidelines. I commit to thoroughly familiarizing myself with all the rules and expectations, and I will ensure that any future stories I submit fully comply with them. I respect the standards of the community and appreciate the opportunity to contribute responsibly.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
