I have always thought that the city where I live is a real pearl. It is a city surrounded by perfectly green mountains; with the exception of the months of January and February where the summer does its thing. There are those who do not tolerate towns, but the life of a capital city, in particular, seems too hectic and crowded for an introvert like me.
La Victoria is located in a privileged area where you can reach the capital of the country in 1:15 minutes by car. However, there is a space specifically that is like life itself: you have to make a little effort to reach it and appreciate its beauty. Another particularity of it is that you must do it on foot, only official vehicles can pass through it. Although its construction brought a lot of controversy due to the fact that in order for it to be completed a large number of trees had to be eliminated, therefore, it took with it part of the natural habitat of many other species, becoming an ecocide.
It is the reality of the José Félix Ribas moment in the Cerro la bandera and it was made with the purpose of commemorating the Battle of the Victory that took place in this city on February 12, 1814.
I do not want to bore you with so much history but I am excited to know that there is so much historical value immersed in this city although the site itself fills you with peace. It has some pretty steep paths especially in the first traffic circle; if you are a little rusty like me, you should watch your breathing then it is more bearable. When you get to the monument you have a beautiful view of the whole city; it is wonderful to go early to perceive the first rays of sun I had the joy of going and see how the mist covered the whole place although the camera phone did not capture even a quarter of all that beauty and freshness that surrounds you is inspiring. Enjoying this place is priceless.
I hope you enjoy the view as much as I do.

It's good when we can appreciate where we're from and find lovely activities to do. The greenery is amazing, and I'd love to be somewhere lush and beautiful as that right now:)
There are places that transmit a lot to you, even their air is purer.
It is easy to imagine you with your cup of cinnamon coffee on the side and meditating peacefully in front of those mountains. 🤗Thank you very much @millycf1976
