Reminds me of the Sierra Nevada ( in Spain ).
Back in the days, in 2009, when I spent a month and a half in Granada ( near the Sierra Nevada ), to learn Spanish, I discovered that 'Nevada' meant Snowy and that 'Sierra' stands for Mountain Range.
So are you living near there, if I may be so rude to ask? ;<)
