What about liquidity?
At the very least we will have a liquidity pool to help incentivize liquidity providers. We will start off with that, and go from there. At the moment the goal is to just get it working and slowly ramp up as it gets more popular.
Do you think this will be an accepted way to move funds in and out of Hive by most investors? What are some criticisms youve heard about the mechanism?
The main concerns I've heard so far stem from not understanding how the bridge works. After explaining a bit more it's typically no longer an issue. For the broader view, I believe it will take time for it become trusted by the community. I'd imagine atleast a few months before usage begins to increase sustainably.
Sounds good so far. Id like it if you guys would open it to discussion when its ready so any concerns are cleared and there are no big risks involved.
If this is solidified as the best possible solution by other developers with technical knowledge to vet the tech I am sure the community will be far more willing to accept it and you can work on attracting liquidity after that.
The best path to success with stuff like this is opening yourself to maximum scrutiny imo.
Absolutely! I plan to do a dedicated AMA/Twitter space on VSC and the wrapping technology we are working on. (likely after the holidays in the US)
