Good day to all! Another episode of my life this morning. I ask David to wash the dishes before taking a bath. It's just good to sometimes let your child practice a simple household chores.

While me, need to water the lemon grass and malunggay tree that's planted 2 weeks ago. Hopefully this will go through and will not die.

Wait, forgot something, turn on the laptop for my favorite music. Though music for some is a disturbance but me just want a chill music everyday, it then relaxes my soul. It wipes away boredom and stress. It feels good to have a slow music which pampers you before starting the day.

This time, Got to prepare the breakfast of my kids. First things first, cook rice off course, then just fried eggs and noodles for them to have a little hot soup. But for me, a cup of coffee is already great. My day will not be complete without coffee. Lot of times that I just want coffee in the morning and will not be able to have rice anymore. Most of the time, got my rice during dinner or lunch.

As I grow older, I noticed that my metabolism is getting slow. I am just happy that even if no rice in the morning, I still survive. Aside from rice is very expensive at this time, it allows me not to eat too much carbohydrates. Just my kids to have breakfast, so I actually have to take care of them always.

Being a mother with this 2 kids was amazing, it creates happiness that is unexplainable, it teaches you to divide your time. It teaches you to be patience, to be more responsible and mature. Taking care of them is wonderful. You got to have that time management for them to have your attention.

Preparing the laundry, as the weather is just nice and really hot in here. Doing the laundry sometimes is tiring but as you finis doing it, it gives you feeling of satisfaction. But anyway, I love water, I love to do laundry, I love to wash everyday if I can, I dont want my laundry to be 1 week. It's a headache if that reaches for how many days. You will be dump with so much to wash.

IMG_20231222_083127.jpg

Sad life, i notice a color brown in the water here. So when the maintenance told us that there will be no water in the afternoon. Ah okay that is why, they have to do flushing or cleaning the tanks today. Sad to say they inform us after they turned off the main switch and not able to prepare for water to use. No water to finish the laundry.

I actually message the office that next time please inform us ahead of time, so we can prepare water. They then ask for an apology and will report and coordinate with the maintenance. Good thing the water is back before lunch time.

Playtime, it's our neighbors right there who actually have that skateboard and let my kids play. They are the companion of my kids outside during free time. My first born also likes to practice that roller skates thing, and he told me to buy a pair of them, but not this time. He already know how to access online shopping and show me those roller skates and said he likes it.
Just told him, not now maybe next time.

Here is the interesting part right here, I ask David to ask for a malunggay somewhere else. And I was just shock that they brought this big😅 I mean just little but look at this one, I can still plant this malunggay here. Anyway, thank you to a very generous homeowner for giving this malunggay to us. Hoping the malunggay tree we planted will grow already so we will not ask to our neighbors anymore.

There you go, a not so special veggies for lunch, happy was able to cook this because aside from it is nutritious, my kids need to have soup everytime they eat. So, a low budget recipe but healthy for today's lunch. Looks good and when I

Oh Kevler what is it, you just came back with this junk food right there. Who gave that to you.He wants me to open it but have to find out where did he took these.Maybe someone with store and took it. Good thing my neighbor told me he gave it to him. Happy kid, happy tummy.

Thank you so much @dsc-r2cornell ☺️☺️Thank you🤗

You reminded me so much of my childhood days when my mother did everything to make the household always work. I really liked how you narrated the experience, because it sounds like one of those calls one makes to a relative to ask about their loved ones, to ask about their day.

@luvshares ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ a love of mother to her kids☺️

I'm just worried @flquin that writers here will be bored of my daily life it's always that I am with my kids specially this time, vacation. But it will be sad after vacation we'll part ways again.

I think this is the reality that we content creators must face. And, it makes sense, tastes change over time for them as much as for us. What I could tell you is to enjoy this moment, feed off your kids' creativity, live and share this as an adventure. If there is not much to do, create things with them, go on excursions, I have seen that Cebu City has beautiful sights.

Also, lean on the internal Hive communities as well as the external ones, for example, friends in the Philippines who are very close with each other may have discord or other networks where you share. And, in the internal communities, you can make things with your hands in one of DIY communities, talk about challenges or concerns you may have as a mother or wife, a delicious meal you make at home, a tradition you celebrate at home or even gardening with the kids. Then there will come other moments that you can try to take advantage of when they are not there, writings, books, reflections, memories? Of course, as always, sometimes we will have good and bad days, but you have to keep motivating yourself to reach the goals you have within Hive.

Yes @flquin I was thinking about Cebu city adventure but I think I cant do it alone. I get tired easily, like if my youngest want this and want that and will keep running, it's a struggle and maybe because I do have heart enlargement, it makes me get tired easily specially now that I'm in my 30's.

What a shame to read about your heart. But, maybe you can find activities that are not so demanding. My situation is somewhat similar, but I feed off those travels and experiences, almost all of my blogging is writing a lot of fiction. Although recently I've had a hard time finding the time to write comfortably.

In my 30's I have also noticed how my body has changed and I think it is a crucial time to prepare for the future, avoid diseases, eat healthily, sleep well so that the 40's do not hit so much jajaj and so the 50's...

It's just good to sometimes let your child practice a simple household chores.

I agree so that when they will grow up they won't be having a hard time because they already know the basic things to be done at home. Same with you, I'm letting my kids know some house chores so that they will learn how to do it.

Yes @aezielove I want them to be that independent when neede already, it's hard if you always take care of them like David he is already 9years old, he needs to learn something. Just a not so heavy chores.

You're a good and responsible mom for teaching him few house chores so he can learn. Salute to you.

Thanks @aezielove for the compliment😘😘

You're welcome. You deserve to be appreciated.

Sometimes the children play in the corridor of the house and come back with treats, I don't let them eat them until I know who gave them to them, usually a neighbor, but we can't trust them, right. My son loves the soup it is also nutritious.

@doriangel Yes exactly we still have to check the food they received from some people we dont know much. Yes they cant eat that much without soup
