Our winners today

🥇 Dunfermline - Home of the Scottish Kings 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 by @tengolotodo

If you know of Scotland then you will know how proud of our history we are. Today we are having a little explore of Dunfermline, which happens to be Scotland's newest city.

It is also the reason that the county of Fife is known as the Kingdom of Fife, and we shall briefly explore why in a wee minute.

As I alluded to, Dunfermline is in the Kingdom of Fife across the Firth of Forth from Edinurgh on the East coast of Scotland. It is easily accessible by rail or road and has a decent wee bus station with plenty of buses to Edinburgh, Glasgow and places over Fife.

We visited on the 15th of November and as you can see it was a typical Scottish autumn day. Grey skies and rain on and off!

🥈 Cruise along the river Bodrog / Plavba po rieke Bodrog by @photoparadise

In today’s post, we’ll embark on a boat trip along a river in eastern Slovakia. That river is the Bodrog, and I took this trip with my friends. Twice a year, we choose a destination and go on a two-day trip. And today, here we are.

We pass through the village of Viničky, cross a bridge, and turn toward the harbor. Here, we board a boat that will take us downstream to Hungary. We’re in the Tokaj wine region, so we were greeted aboard with some fine wine.

The boat’s propellers started moving, and we set off. I’m curious to see what sights this journey will bring. I’ll let myself be surprised.

🥉 Turbe Hazar Baba - Travel with LightCaptured by @lightcaptured

One lovely warm day with a good weather forecast and here we are, on our way to explore some place mystical and medieval that appeared to be at a relatively short driving distance...

The Turbe of Hazar Baba. It wasn't a love at first sight with this ancient building but I was definitely intrigued and puzzled as it was both beautiful and... looked abandoned.

It features some amazing architecture, considering it was built around the XVth century!
