First of all, I would like to wish you a Happy New Year. I am very happy to be part of your community and grateful that you welcomed me among you. I wish each of you a successful, healthy year filled with joy and happiness.❤️

Since my boyfriend and I wanted to go somewhere, we decided to visit Rogla.🗻
We were instantly embraced by the fresh mountain air and the tranquility that only nature can offer. Even the drive there was beautiful, surrounded by dense forests and rolling hills. After parking, we headed toward the entrance of the Pot med krošnjami (Tree Top Walk), filled with excitement and curiosity.

As we stepped onto the wooden path that led us above the treetops, it felt like we had become part of the forest. Below us were towering pines and firs, and all around us, we could hear the cheerful songs of birds. Along the way, we stopped at one of the interactive stations, learning fascinating facts about the Pohorje forest. I didn’t realize how old these trees were and how vital they are to the environment.

The path gradually ascended, leading us to the highlight of the walk – the top of the lookout tower. The view from up there was breathtaking. Endless green forests stretched out below us, and in the distance, we could see the rolling peaks of the surrounding hills. We took a few photos – some of the view and, of course, a couple of us – wanting to capture this magical moment.

On our way down, we found a bench where we sat down to enjoy a snack we had packed. Somehow, the fresh air and the peaceful forest made everything taste better. We didn’t say much, just sat there, soaking in the calmness of nature and each other’s company.

The day left us with so many beautiful memories, a mix of peace, fun, and a deeper connection – not just with nature, but also with each other.🩷
