That's amazing! I haven't been to the Keukenhof yet but I hear that it's incredible and regret that we didn't go during this trip. I'm an idiot and didn't read the website carefully. I thought that they didn't allow dogs on the premises but apparently they do so I don’t know why I thought that. We are actually going back to a different part of the country in two weeks and we decided to buy tickets for the garden hahaha.

If you are staying in that area for a few days though, I recommend checking out the city of Leidan. It's close to the Keukenhof and it's our favorite city in the Netherlands. It's worth seeing if possible. Just throwing that out there though, do what works for you of course.

What!! So you're saying I don't have to fork out €18 and I still get to see these amazing flowers?

Well, thanks to you I booked my flight and hotel now ! 😃

Sorry, I'm not sure if my explanation was clear and I don't want to mislead you here.

The Keukenhof is a large botanical garden with 6 million tulips planted each year. If you want to see the garden then you will need tickets for that. What we did was bike around the surrounding area to see the tulip fields, which are farmers fields. For that, no ticket is required. But you will need to rent a bike because the fields are spread out between several small towns so walking would be challenging and driving a pain. The bikes can be rented at the Keukenhof and other locations and the bike routes are from 10-25km's.

I hope that is more clear but if you have any other questions I will try to answer them.

That's exciting though. It's awesome that you are going!!!

No worries, I been doing some online research today, both the tulip fields and Keukenhof looks gorgeous, I'll see if I can fit both in, make the most of my trip.

Thanks for the recommendation!!!!

Good luck 👍 and enjoy your trip when you go 😁
