Despite the bad weather forecast for the whole week in El Bolsón, neither the guests who had chosen those days for their holiday nor I wanted to waste our time. We all had warm clothes ready for the cold, so when we saw that the rain was ‘tolerable’, we immediately got ready to go out for a walk. Even though I had been there quite a bit in the summer, there were still a lot of things I had yet to see. One of them was the Nahuel Pan Waterfall, and on my new visit I took the opportunity to visit it ❤️.
The good thing about returning to El Bolsón in autumn was that all the peaks that had been totally dry in the summer were now beautifully covered with snow. However, this was also accompanied by rainy weather for most of the month. My friends who live there told me that the month of May always has such wet weather, so it is not such a good month to choose to be on a trip. However, my stay in El Bolsón was only on my way back to Buenos Aires, so it didn't bother me that much 😅.
But there were other people who may not have been aware of this weather issue, so they did choose those dates to be on holiday. Putting on the best of airs and as I was also a guest, I didn't hesitate to join them for a walk. After all, a little water wouldn't do anyone any harm. It had rained quite a lot that day and only in the afternoon the water calmed down a bit, so we didn't have much time left to go anywhere that far, but luckily, we still had something to go and see 😃.
One of these short walks was going to the northern part of El Bolsón, quite in the outskirts but still in the beautiful part. It was the Nahuel Pan waterfall, only 8 km from our hostel. That day I was lucky that those guests had a car, so we reached the waterfall in about 20 minutes. When we arrived, we found the waterfall quite high but not with so much water. Anyway, the scenery was beautiful and as it was something new to me, I enjoyed it 💕.
As I always want to see a bit more, I noticed that at the side of the waterfall there was a small path to continue up to the water level. As the day was a bit rainy, all the ground was quite muddy and slippery, so we had to climb quite carefully. It was quite steep, but the good thing was that we gained height quickly and could have a great view from there. As we were a bit far from the city, we didn't see so many buildings, but we did see a beautiful field with its autumn-coloured trees ❤️.
I'd be lying if I said we didn't get cold that day, but as we walked around the waterfall, we got quite warm. The whole place was quite beautiful, and the views from there were worth it. There are places that are beautiful regardless of the weather and this was one of them, as you can see. It was good that despite the rain we decided to go out, otherwise we would have missed these sights 💕.
While I seemed to have done an awful lot in my summer stay, I was glad I hadn't exhausted all my sightseeing options. I was very pleased to have visited this waterfall, and also that my companions had a vehicle, so that they did not have to walk the 8 km to the waterfall in the rain. The Nahuel Pan waterfall is a good place to spend the afternoon and drink some good mates with a nice landscape, besides listening to the relaxing sound of the water. Even the rain couldn't stop us from going for a walk ❤️.

Thank you Luis, glad that you liked it :)
