Updates to the AI Images page

in About PeakD6 days ago

We do a lot of SNAP (https://peakd.com/snaps/) announcements about what we do however from time to time we need to share a post with a bunch of them in one place.

These are the recent things we've done with https://peakd.com/ai

IMAGE EXAMPLES

We are giving examples of how well the different models do with same prompts

This is also a strong visual indicator if the model doesn't do well with text for example

NUMBER OF IMAGES

Technically this isn't from our newest batch of updates and has been there for weeks.
You can request a bunch of images and pay the HBD all at one time.

CONTINUOUS REQUESTS

You can start your next ai image prompt request immediately after paying for the previous request. No more waiting for one request to get done.

NO MORE TIMEOUTS

We updated our underlying backend code to handle the models that take longer to complete and for users who have slower internet.
This is important as we will be adding some new models soon that require cold start ups of servers that are not always active.

PRE-TRAINED STYLE TYPES

Both Ideogram and Recraft have features where they allow users to choose from pre-trained styles.
While you can get similar effect through your prompt this is more powerful because it's happening at the ai model level.

NEW MODELS COMING

We have tested and are working with 6 new ai image models... what we have done in this release has paved the way to add those in the next update.

BTW ideogram v2 is awesome for these style of announcement images.

What do you want to see next?

Is it possible you guys will somehow use Akash ai image generator? They offer free images.

https://gen.akash.network/

Something we can evaluate.

From a few tests I did the quality of the model they provide is not at the same level of other top models but maybe this will improve in the future 👍

Noticed that as well, but its at least a alternative if people dont wanna spend hive to generate images :)

This is a huge project, the way the payment is being reinvested into the project, makes it stay long term

I suggest a different payment model. Free for pics in e.g. 512x512 pixel, but for upscaling one needs to pay. That would let me try out different prompts first before I decide on a specific one.

I'm not sure if you think the money is going to us?

These prices are mostly just the price it actually costs to create these images. With some of them having a tiny mark up to pay for development etc.
