Leigh and Axel, I guess they once were friends since Leigh is sitting outside in the freezing cold looking at a photo album and ripping Axel's photos out of it and burning them. What is the aspect side of this story? A story we don't even know what the names of the characters are unless we watch to the end? The fact that whatever we face we see it in a different way because we experience it differently. Leigh had it with Axel and says goodbye. Burning his photos is final and what therapists use and so do withes (feel free to add a spell) on the other hand Axel tries to be present. Well , that doesn't work if you sit on a kitchen chair on what looks like ice to me.
It's that the "story" was told underneath this short film otherwise I wouldn't have had a clue what it was about (except for the burning pictures part and I would do the same. Exit is the end and there's no need to hand on pictures of someone you want out of your life.). Since this film is very short I watched it more than once and to be honest I don't understand why it won prized and I doubt everyone who watched it understood what it's about. I have a hard time believing that. It's a total different way of telling a story, more like a #zapfic.
