UNDER THE MESMERIZING SKY

The urge to witness a sunset in every glimpse of it.

Have you ever wondered how exquisite the way the sky changes hue all the time is?

Hello, lovely people! It’s me again, @stoicdeath. For today’s blog, I want to share how much I love chasing sunsets.

I am the type of girl who will always grab her phone and capture the alluring beauty of the sky in all aspects. The sky is one of the most creative art; like the colors, it feels like the intensity of the light is just right to calm you.

This moment takes place in Tonggo, San Fernando, Cebu. This is one of the spots I run to and sit by the railings to watch the sunset. It is a breathtaking moment, no matter how many times I watch this scene. For a glimpse of the moment, I feel like I am living in a fantasy; at this hour, I could be vulnerable.

SUNSETS CAN COMPREHEND SOME THOUGHTS
It is amazing to witness amazing artistry in action as the dying sun and clouds blend to create vivid shades of pink, orange, and purple in the sky. The magic of a sunset is hard to describe; you just have to feel it for yourself.

As I sit here and ponder sunsets signify not just the final phase of the sun’s journey as it starts to drift away between the clouds and the horizon for me it could also symbolize the beginning of our journey a chance to reset and restart.

Before going there, I first scrutinized what time the sun would set so that I could peacefully enjoy that particular day. I always check the weather first, so I have a heads up if it will rain or if I will see the twilight.

Today nothing changes the hue of the sky is like paint full of wonderful and unpredictable strokes designed by the creator and it never disappoints me. Living the day and seizing this hour gives me peace and it allows me to be so weak that somehow even how messed up our day was we could still be this overwhelming. We just have to get through the storms.

There are days when even waking up is a hard thing to do where we tend to question the purpose of living, a heavy feeling that is weighing us down and dragging us up to our own grave.

YOU ARE ALLOWED TO BE VULNERABLE
Allow yourself to get tired if you don’t you will never consider having rest and you will get tired every day and it will consume you and halt you from doing things. You have to acknowledge your various emotions and if you feel sad at the current state then so be it never disregard your emotions and bottle it up it will somehow explode. But remember to stand up in the morning and continue to live, live your life the way you want it to be.

Somedays when we don’t see the sunset maybe it rains heavily or there is a storm and at the end of the day, the sky never shows its beautiful colors. If the sky can do it so why can’t we?

After all, we are all susceptible in some ways we have to admit that there are days when we feel weak, lost, and confused but there will always be a rainbow after the rain we just have to believe that there will be or else we will never get out of the storm we will be left there stranded.

May the sunset be our hope that we can hold onto, all of the storms will pass by they will never stay in your life. Everything is just a phase may we never be fazed by all of the turbulences in our life.

But lovely people hear me out, I know most of you have already pictured this out but let me romanticize it as well. (HAHAHA) While enjoying this beautiful sight it would have been nice to have someone you could share with this warm yellow glow and admire the pink clouds. To walk side by side could be by the beach or by the mountains just under this mesmerizing sky and letting yourself pour the thoughts with a cup of matcha or a coffee by chance. Sunsets are those moments you will never forget.

Finally, may we be reminded always that endings could somehow be beautiful too but beautiful things have their last phase but it does not mean you cannot restart by the day. It's indeed like a cycle and since we are the navigators of our own ship so, we must choose to sail and hope that we can reach the shore safely. Give yourself some credit for coming this far.

You can always take a pause and breathe my lovely people, let the storms pass by then continue to sail when the storms have already gone by.
