Am a Nigerian, every story I write is a reflection of what is going on in my country. Am from Ndokwa west in Delta state, an oil region, yet I have no access to oil wealth. It's painful when you know some set of people, as taking over your father's land all in the name of one Nigeria. Growing up in Nigeria as not been so easy.
Each day things get worst in my beloved country. The government keep treating the citizens like slave, I keep asking myself, why independence? Do we truly have independence? Or the British government are fooling us?
Different government as come and gone. Yet no positive change. In my country the past government, that will think, is the worst, turn out to be better than the present day government.
Nigeria is just a shadow of itself. The one time Giant of Africa as turn to the rat of Africa, our government run to china to apply for loan, and also seek for grant in many country. I keep asking myself, is our government normal? But I know the truth, people in government are selfish.
To me I feel the problem of Nigeria is not the government, but the citizens are the problem of Nigerian. No government can exist without his citizen, every bad government is a reflection of bad citizens and society. In Nigeria we condem who is right and praise who is wrong.
