Rápidamente la señora de la licorería cerro la santa maría de su negocio, nos pareció muy sospechoso, porque ya tenía una semana desde que inauguró el local y su horario lo extendía hasta las 3 de la mañana, nunca nos imaginamos lo que se avecinaba.
Solo habían pasado unos 20 minutos y se escucharon las detonaciones frente a la casa, los transeúntes que les sorprendió la balacera corrieron al recinto de nuestra casa pidiendo desesperadamente que le abriéramos la puerta.
Todo ese acontecimiento nos tomó por sorpresa. Había gritos desesperados de una mujer embarazada y su hijita. Todos temblábamos por el gran susto. Transcurrieron unos 40 minutos y la calle quedo como un completo desierto no había nadie. Sólo al día siguiente nos enteramos de todo lo que sucedió del día anterior.
Only about 20 minutes had passed and detonations were heard in front of the house, passersby who were surprised by the shooting ran to our house desperately asking us to open the door.
The whole event took us by surprise. There were desperate cries of a pregnant woman and her little daughter. We were all trembling with fright. About 40 minutes went by and the street was a complete desert with no one there. Only the next day we found out everything that happened the day before.
