A coffee with the taste of Venezuela [ENG]/[ESP].

I stop by to share with you some reflections as a couple with my wife @morepina, sitting at the table and enjoying a steaming cup of latte.
In recent days, after the election results in my country Venezuela, we lived again the protests of the people for not agreeing with the official results published by the CNE.
And who is going to agree if it was public and notorious that in all states the vote was in favor of the opposition candidate. This is reflected in the minutes that came out of the voting machines and that they later denied saying that there was a hacker manipulating the information, something that never happened and that they said at the beginning that this process was very secure and did not allow any violation.
The truth of the matter is that we spent a whole week locked up in our homes watching the news on social networks, while in the streets young people were murdered for the mere fact of claiming the right to freedom of expression.
We sit down in the afternoons to drink coffee and talk about all the events that have taken place in our country and also about our daily lives. It seems unbelievable but coffee relaxes and calms us and allows us to reflect with our feet on the ground.
We accompanied it this time with a piece of pineapple cake, which is my wife's specialty, and for a while we felt renewed and hopeful to continue with faith intact waiting for that special moment of a favorable change for our country.
The truth is that a good cup of hot coffee with milk is the ideal companion to spend a pleasant time, especially when it is a conversation between spouses.

Saludos comunidad de @cinnamon-cup-coffee, espero que tengan un excelente día y una mejor semana.
Paso por aquí para compartirles algunas reflexiones en pareja junto a mi esposa @morepina, sentados a la mesa y disfrutando de una humeante taza de café con leche.
En días pasados, luego del resultado de las elecciones en mi país Venezuela, vivimos nuevamente las protestas de la gente por no estar de acuerdo con los resultados oficiales publicados por el CNE.
Y quien va a estar de acuerdo si fue público y notorio que en todos los estados la votación fue favorable al candidato de la oposición. Eso está plasmado en las actas que salieron de las maquinas de votación y que luego desconocieron diciendo que había un hacker manipulando la información, cosa que jamás pasó y que ellos decían al principio que ese proceso era muy seguro y no permitía violación alguna.
Lo cierto del caso es que tardamos una semana completa encerrados en nuestras casas pendientes de las noticias por las redes sociales, mientras en las calles eran asesinados jóvenes por el solo hecho de reclamar el derecho a la libertad de expresión.
Nos sentamos en las tardes a tomar café y charlar de todos los acontecimientos acaecidos en nuestro país y también de nuestro día a día. Parece mentira pero el café nos relaja y nos tranquiliza y nos permite reflexionar con los pies sobre la tierra.
Lo acompañamos en esta oportunidad con un pedazo de torta de Piña, que es la especialidad de mi esposa, y por un rato nos sentimos renovados y esperanzados para seguir con la fe intacta esperando ese momento especial de un cambio favorable para nuestro país.
La verdad es que una buena taza de café caliente con leche es la compañera ideal para pasar un rato agradable, sobretodo cuando se trata de una conversación entre esposos.

Certainly what has happened in our country has left us many days of confinement for fear that something might happen to us.
