RE: broke as fuck

in Black And White3 years ago

I'm a massage therapist. My private practice pretty much went away because of covid. I haven't done a lot to resuscitate it because I no longer have a practice space and just do outcall for people I already know. But I work at a clinic and also do chair massage. It's slowly picking up now that most people are vaxxed and/or over the whole pandemic and just want to live again.

I've been broke as fuck before, lots of issues with scarcity and such, but got past that. I've learned that money always comes back, but it's been a bit of a jerk lately.

Per your being mad that you weren't on the road anymore, I'm kinda feeling like that now, and am also wondering what I'll feel like after the big Alaska trip this summer... it's a worthwhile mad, though, considering that I know what's lacking right now.

Hive was worth twenty-nine cents when I joined last year. I haven't seen it go back down that low since, so I have faith. Hoping it spikes before my trip.

Hopper says thanks!

Gotcha. Yeah, that's no fun, even when you know good times will be back again. Lol, I still don't think we're anywhere near done with this pandemic but if people want to act otherwise I can't fault you for taking their money.

Oh yeah, that Alaska trip will get you good. It is a good sort of mad but goddamn is it annoying. Everything just seemed so plain and mundane and boring after my trip, I wasn't sure if I could stomach hanging around a place where nothing and nobody really changed all that much. Enough time has passed now that I'm not mad anymore but I'm still no more enthusiastic about hanging around Louisville than I was then.

When I joined steem was hovering between $2-3 after hitting $8 but it was all downhill from there, watched it drop to 8-10 cents. I think my account value stayed pegged at $100 for a year and a half, any rewards were quickly offset by price drops. Lol, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

The nice thing about post-trip hangovers is that I get to come home to all my crows. So it's never a boring transition, even though I do love travel and wish I could do it more often.

Maybe you could befriend some Louisville crows...
