Koh Norea Vibe in Phnom Penh 🌅

Greetings, everyone in Cambodia! It's that time of year again when the festival is just around the corner. Yesterday, I had the chance to visit one of my favorite places in Phnom Penh – the riverside area called Koh Norea. This is a spot that most of my friends love to come to and enjoy the stunning sunset.

However, today, we arrived a bit too early, as we had to head back to school soon. Still, we had the temptation to spend a few moments there, sitting on the smooth stones and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. I grabbed a refreshing Coca-Cola, while my friend opted for some soda – the perfect accompaniment to the stunning view.

As we sat there, we were be mesmerized by the boats gently gliding across the river, creating ripples that danced across the water's surface. The vibe was just so calming and serene, it was as if the river itself was inviting us to slow down and take a deep breath.

Interestingly, the weather was a bit different in our area compared to other parts of the city. While it had rained around 2 pm in my friend's neighborhood, we were blessed with clear skies and a comfortable temperature here at the riverside. When I mentioned this to my friend, she was quite surprised, as she hadn't experienced any rain at all.

We spent a good amount of time just chatting and catching up, our conversation flowing as naturally as the river before us. It was the kind of conversation that you don't want to end, where you can just be yourself and share your thoughts without any judgment.

As the sun started to dip lower in the sky, the colors around us began to shift, casting a warm, golden glow over everything. It was like the river itself was being set ablaze, the waves reflecting the vibrant hues of the sunset.

Time seemed to stand still in that moment, and it was hard to believe that just a short while ago, we had been rushing to get here. But now, as we sat in the tranquility of the riverside, we felt a sense of calm wash over us, our worries and stresses melting away.
