LUNCH AT TROPIKA CAFE

Just when I thought I was over with my Negros Orientalo Escapade posts, I found out that I haven't shared some other places that we went that are worth sharing. While I was looking for some photos during that trip I noticed the photos we took when we dine at Tropika Cafe in Zamboanguita.

Tropika is owned by a friend that I met during my short stay in Dauin and before our visit, I have been in touch with her because we will also be offering some smoothies on their menu. Before the rest of my friends leave for Cebu we had lunch there together.

Luckily, when we arrived there were only us and Gerwina, the owner was also there. We were amazed by the structure of the place made by mostly native products such as bamboo, nipa, and wood. There were also a lot of plants around and a coconut tree.

We were then seated, presented with the menu, and choose our food. In my case, they prepared a special salad for me because they don't have a lot of vegan options on their menu. The chef prepared me a Tofu and Quinoa salad which was so refreshing, tasty, and very filling. Of course, since we were the only guests at that time, we have to do a photo shoot. Super grateful for @tanawabai for always being on the go to take photos of us.

One of my favorite spots of the cafe is their washing/restroom area. It has a massive mirror and everything around it is made with native materials and the lighting is also good.

When our food came, we went back to our table and eat and share some stories of our experiences during that trip. @tanawabai and Jen really enjoyed the Gambas and ordered another one while I ate their bread. Everything was tasty and amazing.

After our lunch, Gerwina sends us some refreshing drinks to try as complimentary. Perks of being friends with the owner and the bartender.hahahha

We shared the drinks, did a little chitchat, and left the place because we still had to check out from our rooms and for them to prepare to get back to Cebu and I need to move to my friend's place in Dumaguete.

I think this will be the end of the Negros Oriental Escapade Series. Thank you so much to everyone who I have been with on this trip, @unclebkaal, @tanawabai, Jen, Dave, and Darwin. I am extremely grateful for their company and we wish to have more trips with them in the future! Also, thanks to everyone who engaged in my series of posts and I hope it will help you if you planned to visit Negros Oriental soon! Thank you so many dear Hivers!
