Thanks for including my post about our goats! I really did enjoy them, but the time put into them just wasn't worth it for me! Maybe if one of the kids gets interested in the future, we could consider getting some again. The sheep are pretty easy to handle, so we may keep them for a bit! I appreciate the mention!
I hear you. I've had to make similar decisions myself, so I usually try to weigh things up better before committing to something else now. It doesn't always work, though. 😅 With you already having a cow for milk too, then there isn't even the rain to keep for milk either.
True - I tried milking the goat and got maybe a cup (although the babies were still nursing often). We decided the gallon and a half we get from the cow much better suits our needs...
And then tonight the sheep gave birth to twins! The fun never stops around here!
