Splinterlands | VENARI SPELLSMITH always takes its revenge before dying

<hr /> <h3>What’s up my fellow splinterlands players! <p dir="auto">I hope all of you are doing amazing in your life and also spending the day with your family and friends. For those who play this game regularly, I guess all of you are currently playing this game dedicatedly, as we have come closer to the season end and only 5 days remain for this ranked season end. For me, I am still playing at Diamond II tier and currently, I am standing at 3,120 trophy count. This season I am getting so occupied with real life that I couldn't give enough time. No doubt it cost me badly this season and I don't think I can reach Champion League before the season timer reset. But from now on, I will try to play as many matches as possible to boost my SPS and Glint points earnings. Another fact is that as the season ends has almost come, all the top players around the world will be super active during this time and it will be a blood bath in the battle arena until the season end. So, it will be even harder from now on to win matches, especially if you are playing in high leagues like Diamond or Champion. So, let’s see how it goes for me and if I can perform well in these last days or not. <p dir="auto">Now moving forward, today I have an old splinterlands Chaos edition monster that I still use often in my lineups in certain rulesets and today in this post I will be talking about him and give him some limelight so you don't forget this bad boy. This monster is a rare type of card, so you would need 115 BCX of cards to upgrade it to the maximum level. It belongs to the Neutral element so you can choose this card while selecting any element. The attack type of this monster is magic and it costs only 4 mana to be used in battles, so you can easily fit this card in your lineup when playing small to medium mana limit matches and also in the Little League ruleset. With the help of this ability, whenever this card attacks an enemy card, it clears out all the positive status effects from that enemy card. <p dir="auto"><code>SILVER <p dir="auto">When this card reaches level 4, it gets 1 magic attack at 2 speed with an increased 4 health and at this level, it also gets another new ability called Amplify. With this ability, now it can increase reverse damage to enemy cards via Thorns, Magic Reflect and Return Fire by +1. <p dir="auto"><code>GOLD <p dir="auto">At level 6, this card gets an increased 2 magic attack at 3 speed with 3 health along with those 2 abilities that I mentioned above. Though it does not get any new ability at this level, the increased magic attack will help you to kill down enemy cards faster and damage Void ability cards. <p dir="auto"><code>DIAMOND / CHAMPION <p dir="auto">Finally, when this card reaches its max level 8, it gets 2 magic attack at 3 speed with 4 health and it also gets another new ability at its final level called Redemption. So we can use only magic monsters that cost 4 mana or less in this battle. There were 4 elements allowed in this match - Fire, Water, Death and Dragon. So after thinking about the strategy that will be useful in this match, I finally started building my lineup. <p dir="auto">First of all, for this match I chose the THADDIUS BROOD summoner because it decreases 1 magic attack and 1 health from all enemy monsters, so they will be weaker in terms of attack power and health and hence, it will become easier to kill them. Now for my lineup, I chose the Venari Spellsmith at the front place followed by Life Sapper, Spirit Hoarder, Revealer, Venari Bonesmith and the OG Doctor Blight at the and position. <p dir="auto">When both the lineups got revealed, I found out that my opponent had used the same summoner Brood against me and in his lineup, he also chose the Venari Spellsmith at the front position followed by Life Sapper, Venari Bonesmith, spirit Hoarder, Doctor Blight and the Revealer at the end position. Both of our lineups looks almost the same, only I chose the Revealer at fourth and the Blight at last position, while he chose the Blight at 5th and Revealer at the last position. <hr /> <p dir="auto"><img src="https://images.hive.blog/768x0/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/mango-juice/23tknCNH23GjpqGUBBpyMZMuvLQ4D8GeK5bBVrY3a3iBbABeBLHLN4QM3wXuz31tbDWQF.png" alt="image.png" srcset="https://images.hive.blog/768x0/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/mango-juice/23tknCNH23GjpqGUBBpyMZMuvLQ4D8GeK5bBVrY3a3iBbABeBLHLN4QM3wXuz31tbDWQF.png 1x, https://images.hive.blog/1536x0/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/mango-juice/23tknCNH23GjpqGUBBpyMZMuvLQ4D8GeK5bBVrY3a3iBbABeBLHLN4QM3wXuz31tbDWQF.png 2x" /> <hr /> <h3>BATTLE PERFORMANCE <p dir="auto">The main reason I chose my Spellsmith in the first place and the Life Sapper just behind it, is because both of them have the redemption ability which will help me to wound the enemy monster when they kill down both of these cards. As the battle began, my Life sapper and Bonesmith attacked first and killed down the enemy spellsmith together, but then each of my monsters got 1 damage due to the enemy spellsmith’s redemption ability. Then the enemy Life Sapper attacked and killed down my Spellsmith as well, which caused them all to lose 1 health because of my Spellsmith’s redemption ability. <hr /> <p dir="auto"><img src="https://images.hive.blog/768x0/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/mango-juice/23tRxJA8iG2ddd75dzpmdQpX7Bz7nE5F4kM3a53hRcf113fPhnX2XLAc3DfYwsMZmgHYM.png" alt="image.png" srcset="https://images.hive.blog/768x0/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/mango-juice/23tRxJA8iG2ddd75dzpmdQpX7Bz7nE5F4kM3a53hRcf113fPhnX2XLAc3DfYwsMZmgHYM.png 1x, https://images.hive.blog/1536x0/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/mango-juice/23tRxJA8iG2ddd75dzpmdQpX7Bz7nE5F4kM3a53hRcf113fPhnX2XLAc3DfYwsMZmgHYM.png 2x" /> <hr /> <p dir="auto">The same incident happened when both of our Life Sappers died and again, our monsters got 1 damage each. Luckily, my Doctor applied poison while attacking the enemy Bonesmith which caused him to die in the following round and gave me an upper hand. My luck also shined again when only my Doctor and his Revealer were alive in the battle and his Revealer couldn't stun enough times and got dead at last. Thanks to the martyrs Soellsmith and Sapper who gave their lives at the beginning of this match and boosted my chance and gave me an advantage. Thus, I won another amazing victory at last and won some SPS and glint points. <hr /> <h4>I hope you liked watching the awesome battle that I shared above and liked reading my post about it.
