To that point. A bit of explaining is due:
- Hive is the underlying blockchain that supports all of the content here.
- The website you actually use to make posts is called a 'frontend'.
- There are 2 types of front ends: layer 1s and layer 2s.
- Layer 1 sites look at ALL content that is posted to Hive.
- Layer 2 sites look only for content with up to 5 specific tags such as oneup for NFT gaming, leofinance for financial posts, and palnet for generally anything etc.
- Peadk and Ecency are layer 1 front ends while sites like leofinance, splintertalk and oneup are layer 2.
- Communities or tribes on Hive very often create their own layer 2 frontend to consolidate posts they would be interested in.
