Hello December!

Time flies, it's already the first of December, wow. I was reminded by that reading an update from Holozing, which you can check out yourself here, you can read about Holodust, the 2024 advent calendar and some other reward updates.

The first non-tradable Holozing item has been added and you can start earning Holodust from today just by logging into your Holozing reward page and clain your rewards. It's all explained in the post but as I just did it myself, I will show you in some screenshots below as well.

Last year, in December @acidyo had a fun surprise for us for claiming our rewards every day, we earned a max discount of 31% on the first Alpha vial purchase ones these went for sale. I was lucky that I claimed 29 days, so I earned whopping 29% discount on my first vial, pretty worth it!

2024 Advent calendar

This year, there's another advent calendar but this time you get to earn some Holodust instead. I think if you're going to play the game, this is a nice starting bonus as you will need Holodust for everything? or at least most transactions as far as I read in the update post shared above. I marked my calendar to hopefully not forget any days this month and claim a bit of Holodust while doing so.

I didn't claim for some days, I forgot how many but I had a nice 1561 Zing waiting to be claimed for collection rewards plus soms staking rewards so this claim was nice... Once I claimed, I clicked on the calendar and saw the first day I earned 7 something Holodust.

I went into HE to check my swap.hive status, I didn't have much but I bought some Zing with the bits I could spend today:

I'm planning on buying some every week while they're still dirt cheap. I remember once having a goal of 10k Zing while it was much more expensive, Right now I'm first aiming for 20k and then work to the next goal. Baby steps because I don't have many rewards currently because I don't have time to publish every day, sadly.

Holozing Alpha Vial

Because of the rewards I get for holding an Holozing Alpha vial, I decided it might be smart to buy another one to get higher rewards. I know they will not be for sale forever and even though 20 HBD is a lot of money, I think it could be a smart move. I have the feeling that even if I don't play this game much myself in the future, my daughter might love it so either way, I can use it to open them or maybe sell it for some profit who knows. I doubt it will be the latter because if we get to play it we want to have a few alpha's ourselve, lol.

I unstaked 20 HBD and in three days I can add another Alpha vial to my collection to boost some rewards. I will see if I get another chance to buy one after that as I don't know how long they will be available.
