I had a quick but interesting chat in the comments with some of the participants of #zingtober, where we discussed the challenges we face while creating artwork. From that conversation, I realized that creating art comes with its own unique difficulties. It's not just about the skill you have, but also about the struggles that arise during the creative process. Even experienced artists sometimes discard or revise their initial works when they don't turn out as expected.
Despite the challenges and creative blocks, we still manage to produce and submit artwork for the contest. In some cases, like for me, I tend to procrastinate until I finalize the overall theme of my piece. Then, I focus on completing it, often just in time or even past the deadline, lol.
Although I'm a bit late with my entry, I still want to finish it and share it with the Holozing community.
For today’s #inktober prompt, "drive," I created a piece featuring Wrackdoom furiously driving his ATV across rough terrain.
I think Wrackdoom is perfect for this theme, not just because of how he looks, but also because his design gives off a quick and daring vibe. From what I remember, raccoons tend to do wild things, so it seems fitting that he'd take on this ride and show off his driving skills on rough terrain.
I had a great time creating this piece, especially because of the detailed work, which I hadn’t done before. I wanted to capture the sense of speed by adding effects like wind and splashes. Let me show you how I created my artwork.

In conclusion, creating this piece was both a challenging and rewarding experience. I learned a lot through experimenting with new techniques to bring Wrackdoom to life. I hope you enjoyed seeing the process behind the artwork as much as I enjoyed making it!
That turned out great, and I'm happy to see you designed it black and white because it looks sleek.
Thank you, I appreciate the feedback.
It was a nice exercise for me this piece.
Not bad! I like how you put up this one. To make it even better, I think the aerodynamics of the air trail can straighten a little bit to make it more natural.
Thanks for the feedback man 👍
I think that's a good observation and I agree. I imagine it would be better if it's straight instead wavy lines. I will test it on my future works 😊
