Hello everyone ❣️. It's a new Needle Work Monday and that means a new opportunity to continue our work in progress. I must say that I'm having a lot of fun with this because I feel motivated to continue with my projects that have been abandoned in time and to see them all complete at last is very satisfying. This week I dedicated myself to finishing the last job I had pending when the WIP challenge started and everything went well: finally I was able to sew some new outfits for the doll, use some of my scraps and rediscover this area of sewing that I had a little forgotten ❤️.
Hola a todos ❣️. Es un nuevo lunes de trabajos de agujas, queridos amigos de Needle Work Monday, y eso significa una nueva oportunidad para continuar con nuestros trabajos en progreso. Debo decir que me estoy divirtiendo mucho con esto porque me siento motivada a continuar con mis proyectos que han quedado abandonados en el tiempo y verlos a todos completos al fin es algo muy satisfactorio. Esta semana me dediqué a terminar el último trabajo que tenía pendiente cuando empezó el desafío WIP y todo ha salido bien: al fin pude coser algunos trajes nuevos para la muñeca, vaciar un poco mi caja de retazos y reencontrarme con esta área de la costura que tenía un poco olvidada ❤️.
Since I started sewing I have accumulated a lot of beautiful fabric scraps with the premise of "someday using them for something". I think this happens to all of us sewists, we like to have fabrics "just in case", but it becomes a problem when time goes by and we never use them for anything. That's why I set as a goal for this challenge to use some of them to transform them into something and give them life once and for all 😅.
Desde que empecé a coser he acumulado una gran cantidad de retazos de telas hermosas con la premisa de "algún día usarlas para algo". Creo que esto nos pasa a todas las costureras, nos gusta tener telas "por si acaso", pero se convierte en un problema cuando pasa el tiempo y nunca las usamos para nada. Es por eso que me propuse como meta para este desafío usar algunas de ellas para transformarlas en algo y darles vida de una vez por todas 😅.
After a very busy week, yesterday I had all my afternoon free and I used it to get to work on this part of the challenge. I took my time to cut and choose each piece of fabric I liked and then sew each of the little garments. In total I spent over 6 hours straight at the machine, but I was so entertained that I wanted to see all the finished outfits and so I did 😋.
Después de una semana bastante ocupada, ayer tuve toda mi tarde libre y la usé para poner manos a la obra con esta parte del desafío. Me tomé mi tiempo para cortar y elegir cada pieza de tela que me gustaba y luego coser cada una de las pequeñas prendas. En total estuve más de 6 horas seguidas en la máquina, pero estaba tan entretenida que quería ver todos los outfits terminados y así fue 😋.
My favorite clothes for the dolls are definitely princess dresses, but I wanted a varied closet that includes clothes for every occasion: I don't want to limit my girl to just dressy clothes so I also sewed casual outfits for her 😃.
La ropa que más me gusta para las muñecas son sin duda los vestidos de princesa, pero quería un guardarropas variado que incluya prendas para cada ocasión: no quiero limitar a mi chica a solo ropa elegante así que también cosí atuendos casuales para ella 😃.
I love sewing tiny garments and that's why my favorite projects are these and the lingerie ones. Some people find it a bit annoying to have to put the garment in and take it out of the machine all the time, but I find it very entertaining. Plus, seeing this sewn up so small and cute is so adorable 😍.
Me encanta coser prendas pequeñitas y por eso mis proyectos preferidos son estos y los de lencería. Hay quienes encuentran algo molesto el hecho de tener que poniendo y sacando la prenda a cada rato de la máquina, pero a mí me resulta muy entretenido. Además, ver esto cosido tan pequeño y lindo es muy adorable 😍.
This time the dress that took me the most work was this one. I decided to make it in two parts so that they can be interchangeable pieces and I took the opportunity to use a white lace that I recovered from an old garment. Lace fabrics are so beautiful and they look great on these dresses. What do you think? 😃
Esta vez el vestido que más trabajo me llevó fue este. Decidí hacerlo en dos partes para que puedan ser piezas intercambiables y aproveché para usar una puntilla blanca que recuperé de una prenda vieja. Las telas de encaje son tan hermosas y en estos vestiditos quedan geniales. ¿Qué opinan? 😃
I finished sewing all this in the wee hours of the morning (as in all these last few times) and left the photo shoot for today. I was about to do it as usual in my doll clothes posts, using my sewing machine in the background, but the day is so nice that I decided to take advantage of some sunshine to take some shots outside ❣️.
Terminé de coser todo esto a altas horas de la madrugada (como en todas estas últimas veces) y dejé la sesión de fotos para hoy. Estaba por hacerla como siempre en mis posts de ropa de muñecas, usando mi máquina de coser de fondo, pero el día esta tan lindo que decidí aprovechar un poco el sol para hacer algunas tomas afuera ❣️.

I had a lot of fun doing this whole post, from the sewing part to the photo shoot with the curious of my cats. They all came over to see what was going on. Actually they always are, if it were up to them they would be in all the photos: they don't like not being the center of attention 😅.
Me divertí mucho haciendo toda esta publicación, desde la parte de coser hasta la sesión de fotos con los curiosos de mis gatos. Todos ellos se acercaron a ver qué estaba sucediendo. En realidad siempre estan, si fuera por ellos aparecerían en todas las fotos: no les gusta no ser el centro de atención 😅.

Now that I've finished all these outfits I can't wait for my little nieces to come home so I can give them as gifts. I always like to have some new garment to give them because seeing their excited faces is priceless. I am happy to have finished all my WIP projects and I still have a week of extra time, so I might come up with one more project. This being productive thing I love, and it was great that we did it together in this nice community. WE are great 😎.
Ahora que terminé todos estos trajes estoy ansiosa de que vengan a casa mis pequeñas sobrinas así se los doy como regalos. Siempre me gusta tener alguna prenda nueva para regalarles porque ver su cara de ilusión es invaluable. Estoy feliz por haber terminado todos mis proyectos WIP y aún tengo una semana de tiempo extra, así que podría proponer un proyecto más. Esto de ser productiva me encanta, y fue genial que lo hagamos en conjunto en esta linda comunidad. Nosotros SOMOS geniales 😎.

Wow these are mind-blowing collections you've finally completed, the dresses for the doors and just beautiful and each it been on human it would be as stunning as it's on the doll, the same goes for the casual wears as well.

Wow this is so beautiful, it really makes a lot of sense to use a pieces fabric that in my area is being burn to make this beautiful baby dress I love them so much and you really did a great work because is not easy to sew the pieces has small has it is to form the dress. Weldone my friend

As I told Lelys, I thought the contest ended yesterday 😂. And when I checked the original post I saw that we still have one more Monday.
