Floral diversity in the summer season

in WE ARE MOVING5 months ago

Today, I think you won't surprise anyone with flowers, but many people will also be pleased to look and admire such a variety of bright colors of summer.

Although flowers do not always attract our eyes with their appearance, sometimes we feel them by their aromas, smells or sensations...

And only when we get closer do we begin to look at their attractive delicate petals, stamens and pistils.

They look impressive up close, don't they?

These grow in our Japanese garden, it is a medium-sized, evergreen shrub. The crown of which is more broadly vertical and loose, and the flowers are purplish-purple, beet-colored with white and yellowish stamens. It begins to bloom abundantly in the second half of May. But the leaves are just glossy and dark green.

Could you just tell from the photo what is in front of you, which flower or plant?

I hope that you have already understood from my description that this is a rhododendron, namely "Old Port", many of you will recognize it, because it is very bright and quite recognizable in itself.

This genus of plants from the Heather family, according to modern classification, there are already more than 1,200 species of various rhododendrons, mainly evergreen, semi-deciduous or deciduous shrubs. They are small in appearance, but very beautiful. Decorate any backyard or park area.

There is a large mass of plants growing here, which you will not find: Japanese spiraea,
glaucous fescue, monetized verbena and even irga or Perovskii cyanophora can also be found if you want. And you will often find a winged birch bark, of course, sage or fragrant lavender.

What is especially interesting is that they are located right in bright spots all over the park.

Some grow near reservoirs, some have taken root right in them :-)

I really liked these water lilies. They also come in as many as 60 species. Of course, everyone will recognize them, because water lilies are a well-known plant with large heart-shaped oval or heart-shaped rounded leaves floating on the water and large flowers floating on the water.

Isn't that a beauty? Look at these outlines, smooth lines, looking at them you really calm down.

However, I just didn't have enough green frogs here, which would be placed on these floating ships and would also admire such wonderful water lilies, as if painted by talented artists on canvas.

We agree that they look almost like from a painting, for example, by the same Claude Monet "Pond with water lilies", although the master wrote it back in 1899, and it will not be so easy to find them in this picture :-)

However, you remember that Claude Monet was in love with flowers from childhood and nature was his element, and the water lilies depicted by him, as art historians write, were grown from Japanese seeds in his own garden. This painting was once sold at art auctions for more than $ 80 million. But in my photo everything is just wonderful and you can enjoy this beauty for free :-)

About 6,700 trees, 5,900 shrubs and more than 280,000 flowers were planted in our Japanese Garden. Imagine what a mind-boggling scale this is. And how much work has been done by gardeners, landscape designers and just gardeners.

Looking at my photos, you clearly found marsh irises and Nymphaea water lilies and many other amazing plants of our mother nature on them. I hope you also liked my photos?
