Greetings to the Reflections community: This is my first post and my introduction to this community.
Who gives must soon forget, and he who receives, never.

I came to Hive unintentionally. I landed following a great content creator I met on another platform and whom I admire. It was she who told me that she was uploading new works to Hive, inviting me to follow her.....and I arrived in August 2023 with no intention of publishing. And remained so until November.
During those months, curiosity encouraged me to move around Hive, to meet communities and other creators unknown to me until then, some of them really interesting... and one day I decided to take a step further: I started commenting. At first I was embarrassed, my channel had a reputation of 25, and I thought it might be received with indifference, or even contempt. To tell the truth, I didn't know the platform and those fears, at the time, were very real.
To my surprise, the comments were usually well received and, between comments and responses, I found an invitation to start publishing, and then, generously, all the help I needed. With this tour I want to show what I like most about Hive: the community spirit. I have also found exceptions, of course. But I can say that the good treatment between Hivers is what I like the most.
That good treatment that today obliges me, out of gratitude, to join this celebration, I think it is, of the eighth anniversary of @galenkp on the platform. Congratulations.
This is in terms of an assessment of the Hive's place in my life. I was coming from a platform where I lost my soul, looking more for satisfaction in numbers than in the pleasure of creating. Starting from scratch in Hive is being a lesson of humility that I think helps me...

I’m glad that you had the positive experience that so many of us have had: a meek newcomer unsure about what you are doing but leaving a comment or two and people welcome you with open arms. This is absolutely the strength of a place like hive - the community of wonderful people who are willing to help and get someone familiar is great! We all are trying to figure out life and it helps to meet like minded people who are a positive influence on us instead of vitriol.
I do know what you mean on other platforms, feeling soulless. You feel lost in a gigantic expanse of this machine that is Fakebook or IG or others because they try to consume all of your essence to use you as a product instead of us using them to grow and develop.
Keep up your hive journey, it’s an amazing place to be and I’m happy you joined us!
I am not going to be as extensive in my response, as in your comment. Precisely, your comment reflects very well what I feel in Hive, and what makes Hive a different and wonderful place: the human side.
Thank you very much for your visit and best regards @cmplxty

Yes, this is another world, and I'm so glad you showed it to me. On the one hand there is Hive, little by little I am moving less clumsily, and enjoying this trip more. On the other hand I love to see you growing here. Your creations look like someone else's, you have evolved so much. I know they are yours because they keep the essence of who you are.
Best regards @avdesing and thanks again for joining me.
I always like to improve and improve and this is a space where I can do it, that's what I was talking about in the positive points in my post and above all the beautiful people I met when I arrived.
Thanks to you!
Trees grow from a seed, you have been in a certain way transplanted from another piece of land, and you have begun to take root here.
Now it seems that you are entering the flowering phase, and what I want is to remove a few fruits =)
Many successes, curiously you received 2 important visits...one of them left you a comment (and it wasn't me), the other left you a nice upvote.
You are a tree (that bears screwdrivers like fruit, but nothing is worse, right?)
I give screwdrivers, rather than a transplanted tree, I consider myself an itinerant. Although, as of today, I plan to spend some time in Hive. In addition to what is mentioned in the post, which includes you as one of the positive things that have happened to me in Hive. I also have a challenge posed, or/and rather I have to solve a curiosity.
A big hug @manclar
You definitely give screwdrivers, also washers, often nuts (although rusty) and the bad thing about it is that all this is without oil. Thanks for the part that corresponds to me, I am just a tree and bird watcher. Itinerant?, good way to call yourself "nomad" =). I'm curious to see what that curiosity is that you have to solve, but knowing you, I already understand very well where the topic is going, that both you and I love to create suspense and intrigue, because that's cool.
Greetings male.
🤗
Me gusta hive, aun me falta por recorrer y he sentido compañerismo acá, las comunidades que he conocido me gustan, esperando aprender cada día,tu eres un buen hivers @enraizar saludos 🫂
I like hive, I still have a long way to go and I have felt fellowship here, the communities I've met I like, hoping to learn every day,you are a good hivers @enraizar greetings 🫂
Thank you very much for the comment, the good opinion is mutual, you bring a very important thing to the community and they are values.
And, now, a piece of advice: look at the language of the communities and write in their language. I don't think that in this case nothing will happen, but it can happen that it bothers the community to write in another language.
A big hug @mariiale1979
I apologize, I will take it into account, good suggestion to check before commenting @enraizar
That's what it's all about, helping each other and learning and growing together.
Best regards and thanks for your visit @mariiale1979
Hive is another world, a bit complicated at the beginning but one gets used to it and it becomes easier, right?
I read with joy how you decided to join, because that first step is the hardest and even harder is to keep going, I wish you a lot of success here
Thank you very much for your good wishes. I think I will spend a long time at Hive. During the time I spent reading and commenting I learned that it is also a way of being on Hive. So, if someday I decide not to post, I will continue to do what we are doing now, which I love. Communicating with other people. I can say that in this time I have met wonderful Haivers whom I appreciate and I think some of those Hivers also appreciate me.
Best regards and success @dahpilot
I love that mindset, it is the foundation of everything around here, many should read that comment of yours
Thank for the wishes , the same for you, friend
Thank you very much and best regards.
What a beautiful reflection that invites humility, it is never too late to be humble. a brotherly hug
Well, humility is a very personal thing of mine and one that I don't think you lack. And friend, speaking of Hive, you are one of the creators that make Hive a better place than it already is. I am very happy to have met you.
A hug Yolernis.
Just to tell you that you are great. And I love the Seneca quote.
😊, abrazo!!!
Your journey to HIVE sounds similar to mine. Mine was following a FB friend to STEEM, back in the day. Like you, it took some time before starting to post. You might find, like me, that HIVE can change you for the better. There was an opening up which took place through the course of blogging. The fork from STEEM hit me hard and my reaction was to power down and became inactive. However, when introducing a new irl friend to crypto and showing him HIVE, the community's charm came back to me leading to me topping up my account a bit and have becoming active again. Will be following your HIVE path with interest!
I am still learning how the system works. I have also had a hard time finding my place in Hive, finding those communities where I feel comfortable. In all this time I have felt and still feel very accompanied. I continue to publish little due to lack of time, but I have made a commitment to publish once a week and I am fulfilling it. And with each post I upload and with each post I comment I feel more part of Hive. I can't think of anything else to tell you but thank you very much for the comment. Sharing your experience is very valuable to me.
Best regards @novacadian
I don't know how I missed this post but I'm here now and I really love that someone like you is on here, spreading very beautiful vibes. ❤️
Friends are never late to my home, which is theirs. It's a real pleasure to see you here, and to read such a nice comment. A hug @edith-4angelseu
