🌴 Sweet, juicy salak delivered right to your doorstep. Simple joys on a relaxing morning. ❤️🙏🏻
Hello, friends. This morning, as I was relaxing at the dining table after finishing my cleaning duties, I heard a familiar horn and a shout from the front door. It was truly a moment of relaxation. But curiosity led me to the front door... and the sight made me smile. In front of my house (which is in front of the coffee shop), a fruit-laden tricycle was parked. But it wasn't just any fruit. It was salak, loaded with a full trailer load, a truly amazing sight. I remembered patronizing this vendor about a week ago, and its sweet, juicy flavor has remained unforgettable.

💰 The dark-colored salak is incredibly flavorful.
So today, I didn't hesitate to reach for my wallet and go support this kind vendor once again. I carefully selected the dark-brown salak, as I personally believe that the darker the color, the sweeter it is. Although some of the salak were lost in the basket, I decided to buy them all, both the beautiful bunches and the separated, loose ones, for the same price of 60 baht.
Today, I ended up with 2.5 kilos of salak. Even more amazing, the vendor even included a large bunch! The total weight was probably around 3 kilos. It was truly a great value combined with deliciousness.

After bringing the salak into the house and taking photos to record the moment, it was time to taste it. The taste was so sweet and juicy, I couldn't stop eating it... lol 🤤😅😆
The salak I bought was probably Indonesian salak.

😢 Lessons from nature: Restoring my beloved salak plantation
It's funny how I usually don't like to eat salak, but I fell in love with it immediately after growing it myself. Haha. But the sad thing is, my salak plantation was flooded for several days. The pollinated salak trees that were already bearing fruit rotted and were completely destroyed... It was truly devastating.
However, I will not give up. Even though it will take some time to recover and we may have to start over again, we will definitely be able to recover. The lessons learned from this natural disaster will be a driving force for better care and prevention in the future.
While waiting for my salak orchard to recover, being able to buy sweet salak from a kind vendor at my doorstep is another "small happiness delivered right to your door" on this relaxing morning.

For today, I must take my leave. You are my friend. See you next time. Thank you for following and supporting me. Thank you very much. 🙏🏻❤️🥰
