Advice for those starting on hive and ecency.
- Pick a niche and stick with it... No matter how boring it may seem... Especially if you are on hive as a hobby or something you are doing the side.
If you have a job you do, having a focus in your content creation helps you with number 2.
- Be consistent no matter how boring it becomes...
Sometimes you'll not get support, sometimes you'll get overwhelming support. Stick with what you are doing... Weather the storm.
- Interact with others... You get ideas for creating from watching and learning from other creators. It's a community... It's called a hive for a reason, a Hive is not made up of one individual, it is a collective.

About number 1, I agree but also slightly disagree.
I mean, it would be great if you have a niche and you stick to it but it's also something limitating. It's better to have the freedom of writing about whatever we want at the moment without the fear of stepping outside that niche.
You have the freedom to write about anything...
But having a niche... Gives you focus especially if you already have a job. If you have time on your hands... Then fire away at any and everything
