We & Meditation - Time to make it part of life.

Today we had a meditation session in our school. It is not something new to us. Meditation has been an aged practices in our countty which was very prominent earlier. But with the changing time, people forgotten its benefit. But now few people started to adapt in their life, while few needed these kind of session to make them part of life.

What I feel, is that Meditation has becomes need of the times. I have noticed everyone very busy, with no time for self or for family. They have a very fast paced life and unable to maintain a balance between mind and body. For once you can relaxed your body by visiting spa or massage parlour but people generally find it difficult to relax their mind. For a healthy living, one needed to maintain a balance between mind and body. This is where meditation plays an important role.

One needs to take out few minutes of their routine to practice meditation. There are multiple benefits and once you start practicing you will notice a lot of changes in your lifestyle as well as in the well being. I have been doing it for a while and observed many advantages. A good meditation helps us in following ways :

  • Brain empowerment
  • Focus mind
  • Stress relief
  • Reach goals
  • Feel Connected
  • Balance
  • Self centered
  • Mood Enhancement
  • Boost immune system
  • Anti aging
  • Healthy heart
  • Increase energy

One does not need any equipment or accessories for doing Meditation. It is done solely by own in a quite peaceful place. I learnt something new today. The organizer shared an important thing about doing Meditation. There are two important timing. Firstly, Amritbela ( the time between 4AM to 5AM) and Second, Numasham (time between 6PM to 7PM). These two hours are considered to be peace hours and good for Meditation. But meditation can be done at moment of daily life.

Also, doing Meditation is very easy. It is like sitting straight, take a deep breath and try to keep your focus with a smiling face. Generally Meditation is done to control the mind. Nowadays, we have scattered mind because of multiple things in life. And Meditation allows to control the brain and focus on one thing that is peace. Which makes the mind quite relaxed.

Even doctors says that a 10 min of meditation is very helpful. But it all depends on us to bring it in practices. We all know its benefits but, the thing is we never take it seriously.

However, not in my case, as I already doing it for quite some time, and it helps remembers many things from school syllabus. Hope you all take a leaf out of it and put it in your life too.
