"Students" activity: wearing Thai costumes to school on Loi Krathong Day

in CCH28 days ago

Hello, all lovely friends.
The day before yesterday, Loy Krathong was held and the village organized a Loy Krathong festival.
And the school let students wear Thai costumes to school and join the Loy Krathong festival. Today, my daughter wore a pink Thai costume. She was very cute. "Pink Thai costume"
Today, my daughter was very excited. She woke up early in the morning. This morning, I had a mission to cut banana trees to make a door for my daughter and cut banana leaves to make Krathongs. My daughter told me to cut banana trees and cut them into pieces for her friends and teachers at school. I was able to cut 20 pieces.
As for the flowers, I bought them at the market. My wife bought them and kept them for about 2 days. I hoped the flowers would not wilt. When I came back from cutting the banana trees, I prepared the equipment for my daughter to make Krathongs with her friends at school. Meanwhile, my daughter was getting dressed with my wife.

The equipment is ready and my daughter is dressed. She looks like a Thai girl wearing a Thai dress. It's time to send my daughter to school. When I arrived at school, her friends and teachers were amazed by the beauty of the Thai dress she wore.
Then I went back to the temple because of a relative's funeral. While I was eating, the parade and music started playing. When I looked at the music, I saw students walking in a parade, carrying krathongs to float in the Trang River at the event. I quickly got up and went to take pictures. The students from kindergarten to grade 6 walked in a line or krathongs in an orderly manner. Of course, the kindergarten children, with the hot weather, were difficult to control. When the children had to cross the road to the other side, I quickly ran to help them cross the road safely.
School ended as usual. I picked up my daughter from school and stopped by the temple. I didn't go back to her house with the Thai dress she was wearing. While I was taking pictures of my daughter, she was taking her jewelry out of her hand. She told me not to take pictures because my dad wasn't ready yet. But I took pictures and posted them on the dice. He must be mad at me if he saw that I posted the pictures. Right now, it's my brother's funeral. I think it's a very good and appropriate opportunity that the school organized a Loi Krathong event. The children got to make Krathongs together and use their ideas and creativity.

Very pretty girl in traditional costume! It’s nice to teach children about old customs and tradition.
