It was cold yesterday morning which kept me inside for a while until the sun came up and warmed things up a good bit. Women's PDC was on and I caught the end of it while working on my post.
The Euros are on and I watched the Denmark tie. It was far too close for the quality of players on Denmark's team and they ended up giving up the tying goal but managed to keep it a tie.
Once it warmed up I was out in the greenhouse tying up the cucumber plants to the lines. I also trimmed the tomato plants but they have a bit before I need to tie them.
Then the real fun began, pulling weeds. I worked my way up the kale and chard rows plus the few onions spots that had weeds and tossed them into the tub.
I grabbed another tub and began working my way up the carrots and squash rows but only made it about 3/4 of the way before the tub was overfilled.
Then the boys came out and gave me a hand pulling the mass of weeds along the south end of the garden. The weeds were quite thick but we managed to get the bulk of them yanked out.
The tubs got filled then dumped over the fence for the sheep. I hauled 4 tubs over then the boys hauled the last one.
They worked together to carry it to the pen where I dumped it out. At this point my back was sore from all the hunching over and I called it for the afternoon.
Filing through the various movies I have on the thumb drive I ended up putting on the Mummy 2 which I had to go look it up but it was The Rock's first movie aside from the wrestling garbage. I also have to say that I liked the sfx on the first movie better than the 2nd.
Does anyone remember just how shitty the "better graphics" of the early 00s were? They took a HUGE step backwards in quality for a year or two before it eventually got to be better quality graphics. It's easy to see it now that we have holograms but when we were in it everyone was all gaga over it.
I got the fire going in the pit for grilling but I should have used drier wood to have better coals.
We had a bit of ham left so I sliced it up and we had a Hawaiian style burger.
Out to soak earlier than normal by a bit but I didn't get long in as my skin is back to being shit again.
Today it might rain in the afternoon and is chilly now but should get to 70F or so. I have my chiro appointment this morning then I have to hit Home Depot for bolts for climbing. The gardens still have oodles of weeds to pull, I have mowing to do, Euros are on, I have to fill the Tiki torches around the hot tub, then come up with something for dinner this evening.
