The sheep were low on water despite all the rain we've been getting so I made sure to get the trough filled.
Once the cleanup was done from the gift bags I opened the glass studio for the boys so they could use their new welder shade 5 glasses.
I turned on both torches and gave them a light workable flame to play in and let them be for a while. This is all just playing right now and seeing what the molten glass is like and how it moves. Safety and proper use of tools, a bit of correcting, but they had a lot of fun for about 40 minutes.
PDC is on and Luke put on a masterclass as he whooped Jermaine 16-2.
At 1pm the Kraken came on... A real true mid day game!? I was a bit amazed it happened and rather happy it was on far earlier than normal so we were able to watch the entire thing. THEY WON! It was a pretty good game overall.
In between periods I was outside wandering the farm putting a number of things under cover and clearing out the yard in preparation for the snow that was heading our way. I got all my geo-fence picked up and set beside the shed so it isn't lost.
I had waited until I knew the Starlink was mounted in the right spot to tack the cable to the tree so got a few hammered in and the ladder moved back.
At 4pm we loaded up in the truck and headed towards town but on the way stopped at Hop Mountain for some food.
We had drinks, an order of sliders and fries which was a nice amount to hold us over until the game had started and the lines were shorter.
We were walking into the arena at 5:10 and were some of the first in. We found our seats which were really a good spot, and waited for the game to start.
It took a while for the arena to fill in, it WAS a sold out event thanks to it being the school night promotion and the cheaper food.
The game went really well and the Chiefs slowly put points on the board.
The night went WAY WAY better than the prior for the team as they got spanked with 7 goals against. Last night they were right on top of things, fighting hard and often, and going to the ;last minutes were up 2-0.
Had some pucks the boys got to try and win by throwing it into a milk crate in the middle of the ice. My first throw hit the side of the crate and the second missed.
All I can say is I'm sorry to the guy directly below the boys... J and R were SCREAMING! I mean full on screeching and screaming in an attempt to lose their voices... Poor people below us...
The team got an empty netter in the last minutes to secure the 3-0 win.
As we walked out of the arena the snow was falling for the first snowfall of the season.
We got the Starwars effect on the drive home.
It was dumping snow when we got home and the boys got snow clothes on and headed out to play in it.
The fights I wanted to see were on UFC right when we got home and HOLY SHIT Was the Chandler Oliveira fight badass! Chandler had Charles wrapped on his back in the last minute, stood up with him on his back, stalked across the ring, jumped up in the air and landed on Charles on his back on the mat... THEN DID IT AGAIN!
YES! I was entertained Chandler!!!
The boys made sure to enjoy the snow since I told them it would not last long looking at the forecast so they did just that.
Then THE fight came on. The GOAT Jon Bones against an old GOAT Stipe. Holy shit was Jon on point and he whooped Stipe who retired at the end of the fight.
It was GREAT to see Trump there and holy shit did that show just how awful boxing has become. Boxing is a clown show and is nothing but punching bags. UFC fighters are warriors who don't JUST TAKE HITS TO THE HEAD. Some of the old school UFC fighters have turned into waterheads from the damage like Diaz, but most keep their brains intact, unlike just about every single boxer who turns into Ali, a drooling brainless mess.
Jon truly is the GOAT!
Made it out to soak then for a half hour while it snowed on us. My stupid skin still being trouble.
It was an inch of snow we got but it will be raining today. PDC is on now but I will miss the final due to the boys' birthday party at Ninja Nation at 1pm. We will have to stop for the cupcakes on the way then there will be like 30 kids there for the couple hours. This is the boys' big birthday party for a few years as it's not cheap, but well worth the experience for them and their friends.

Awesome that the boys are learning Glass art!👍
Learning crafts like this at an early age, I think they will appreciate so much more as they grow up!👍😊
