Saludos apreciados lectores hoy doy vida y amor a mi blog con mi necesidad de volver a integrarme con las artes manuales, siendo esto una de mis motivaciones para vivir, pues en la aplicación del dibujo y el color encuentro múltiples formas de expresión que, en simples palabras, hablan sobre mi mundo interior.
Greetings dear readers, today I give life and love to my blog with my need to re-integrate myself with the manual arts, being this one of my motivations to live, because in the application of drawing and color I find multiple forms of expression that, in simple words, speak about my inner world.
Fue así como en estos tiempos de vacaciones laborales julio – octubre 2024, conecté con el arte de las acuarelas, una técnica de expresión plástica con la que nunca he tenido contacto de forma académica, siempre he sido un poco autodidacta cuando se trata de crear y plasmas. Sin embargo, en este campo nunca he dejado de reconocer la importancia de la instrucción por parte de algún especialista, y fue así como decidí aceptar una grata invitación para realizar un taller de: “Exploración Acuarela, Monocromía en tu creación”.
It was thus that in these times of working vacation July - October 2024, I connected with the art of watercolors, a technique of plastic expression with which I have never had contact in an academic way, I have always been a bit self-taught when it comes to creating and plasmas. However, in this field I have never failed to recognize the importance of instruction by a specialist, and that is how I decided to accept a pleasant invitation to conduct a workshop of: “Exploration Watercolor, Monochrome in your creation”.
Al ver la publicidad pensé en mi sobrina en vista de que estaba proyectado solo para niños y adolescentes, pero me surgió el deseo de preguntar si aceptaban a una adulta con su niña interior a flor de piel queriendo explorar acuarelas, inquietud ante la que recibí una positiva respuesta.
When I saw the advertisement I thought of my niece, since it was designed only for children and teenagers, but I had the desire to ask if they would accept an adult with her inner child wanting to explore watercolors, a concern to which I received a positive response.
Fue así como antes del taller me fui de compras para reunir parte del material que solicitaban, dirigiéndome con emoción en una de mis tiendas de sueño, papelería “Arte Real”, este lugar me encanta, por su amplitud y gama de materiales artísticos con lo que recuerdo esos hermosos y significativos tiempos cuando estuve en la escuela de artes.
So before the workshop I went shopping to gather some of the material they requested, heading excitedly in one of my dream stores, stationery “Arte Real”, I love this place, for its breadth and range of art materials with what I remember those beautiful and meaningful times when I was in art school.
Entonces organicé mis finanzas para pagar el taller, integrando y organizando los materiales asignados en conjunto con mi sobrina. Llegando el día del taller nos dimos cuenta que éramos las únicas participantes inscritas por lo que se convirtió en un taller exclusivo.
I then organized my finances to pay for the workshop, integrating and organizing the assigned materials together with my niece. Arriving the day of the workshop we realized that we were the only participants registered so it became an exclusive workshop.
De este modo con entusiasmo nos encontramos durante 4 días en las mañanas para asistir a nuestro taller, donde comenzamos a conocer esta fascínante técnica, el tipo de papel para su aplicación, pigmentos, teoría del color, visión de algunos artistas en especial de la facilitadora, quien con su paciencia y dulzura nos fue guiando, en la medida que íbamos avanzado para mí fue muy interesante, sensible y meditativo este encuentro.
Thus with enthusiasm we met for 4 days in the mornings to attend our workshop, where we began to know this fascinating technique, the type of paper for its application, pigments, color theory, vision of some artists especially the facilitator, who with her patience and gentleness was guiding us, the as we were advancing for me was very interesting, sensitive and meditative this meeting.
El taller efectivamente se basó en experimentar la acuarela a partir de la monocromía, es decir un solo color, y las posibilidades que ofrece la técnica para revestir una imagen. Antes de aplicar el color: dibujamos, preparamos nuestros propios pigmentos a partir de un solo color realizando gamas muy sutiles.
The workshop was effectively based on experimenting with watercolor from monochrome, i.e. a single color, and the possibilities offered by the technique to coat an image. Before applying the color: we drew, we prepared our own pigments from a single color, making very subtle ranges.
Cada día realizabamos un dibujo y después los pigmentos, para luego humedecer el formato y empezar a aplicar el color, cuyo sugerencia era hacerlo desde los tonos más claros a los más oscuros. De este modo durante el taller fuimos experimentando con el color amarillo, rojo, azul y al final luego con los colores presentes en nuestras composiciones de base.
Each day we made a drawing and then the pigments, to then wet the format and begin to apply the color, whose suggestion was to do it from the lightest to the darkest tones. In this way during the workshop we experimented with yellow, red, blue and finally with the colors present in our basic compositions.
En lo personal en principio no sentí mucho gusto con la aplicación del amarillo, luego me di cuenta que no fue por la técnica ni gama obtenida, fue por el objeto modelo que llevé, el cual me resulto difícil diseñar, sin embargo, después entre en reflexión recordando que el objetivo del taller era explorar con las acuarelas, no un taller para aprender a dibujar, más que el producto, el propósito del taller era la exploración del material y la técnica.
Personally, at first I did not feel much pleasure with the application of yellow, then I realized that it was not because of the technique or range obtained, it was because of the model object that I took which I found difficult to design, however, then I entered into reflection remembering that the purpose of the workshop was to explore with watercolors, not a workshop to learn to draw, rather than the product, the purpose of the workshop was the exploration of the material and technique.
La premisa al momento de pintar era iniciar con los tonos claros hasta los más oscuros con lo que poco a poco fui fluyendo hasta obtener un resultado aceptable para mí al momento, ya que el tiempo del taller se nos iba muy rápido quedando de parte de nosotras seguir experimentado en casa para terminar nuestra composición a nuestro gusto.
The premise at the moment of painting was to start with the light tones until the darkest ones, with which I gradually flowed until I obtained an acceptable result for me at the moment, since the time of the workshop was going very fast, leaving us to continue experimenting at home to finish our composition to our liking.
Para los siguientes días decidí llevar imágenes personales que desde hace tiempo deseaba agregarle color con otras técnicas que me resultaran atractivas y les dieran a mis dibujos un toque romántico y diferente. Siendo así con este taller encontré en la acuarela un bello e interesante recurso para lograrlo, atreviéndome a reproducir e intervenir tres dibujos personales realizados después de vivencias trascendentes en mi vida.
For the following days I decided to take personal images that I had long wanted to add color with other techniques that would be attractive to me and give my drawings a romantic and different touch. Thus, with this workshop I found in watercolor a beautiful and interesting resource to achieve it, daring to reproduce and intervene three personal drawings made after transcendent experiences in my life.
Todas las imagenes estan sin culminar, proceso que me llevó a reflexionar sobre el tiempo y dedicación que se le debe a un arte, para que su creador pueda decir ¡Está listo!. Aún asi fue muy satisfactorio el aprendizaje del que ambas recibimos nuestros certificados digitales.
All the images are unfinished, a process that led me to reflect on the time and dedication that is due to an art, so that its creator can say "It's ready! Still, it was a very satisfying learning experience from which we both received our digital certificates.
Realmente este taller fue un regalo que me hice en estos tiempos de vacaciones en compañia de mi dulce sobrina. Estar con ella y conectar de nuevo con el arte fue muy significativo para mí, con lo que logré encontrar una armonía personal mientras dibujaba y pintaba, experimentando así una nueva técnica que me dio luces para seguir creando, expresando, meditando y divirtiéndome.
This workshop was really a gift that I gave myself in these vacation times in the company of my sweet niece. Being with her and reconnecting with art was very meaningful for me, I was able to find a personal harmony while drawing and painting, experiencing a new technique that gave me the light to continue creating, expressing, meditating and having fun.
