I love to help rather than being helped because many times, I want to see people happy that I could help in my way. I love when I am helped too but it doesn't give me more joy than seeing others helped by or through me. This gives me enough fulfilment as it does to the one I have helped. It brings a smile to my face when they are happy that a part of their problems was solved.

When I need to help, I don't force myself, when it's in my capacity to do, I render it, and sometimes, I feel sad when I am not able to help others and that could be caused by various factors which all the time, I am not in control of. Sometimes, when people come and I couldn't help, I would be like, "Why didn't they come before now?" Well, I am not in control of that as people come anytime and it is one reason I pray to God to make me available every time they need my help and God always do that.

Some weeks ago, a corper at my PPA (Place of Primary Assignment) had an issue where she mistakenly recharged airtime worth #30k to a line she hadn't registered and was blocked. She was devastated that morning and was looking for a way to resolve the issue. The issue drained her so quickly that she wasn't feeling the vibe to take any class that day. We consoled her and wished things got resolved and that was it.

That same day when I got home, I was undressing myself when I got a call from her. I was surprised because she doesn't call nor chat with me except on days she needed to ask me a question, she would call or chat me up. I knew she needed me urgently as I noticed she had called via WhatsApp before calling me the normal way. I picked it up and immediately, she explained her situation that she was at the place where she wanted to register her line but the person she called to send her money hadn't done that. She was urgently in need and so, asked for my help to send her some amount of money. I did immediately without even asking when she would return it because it's normal for me to ask especially when I have waited and the person isn't giving me a time frame.

The money in my account was for something I wanted to get and was the actual amount she requested for. I sent it to her trusting her to not disappoint me because it was the first time asking for my financial help. I continued with my business that day as if nothing had happened.

Later in the evening, I logged into my WhatsApp and saw a message from her that I should forward my account details, I smiled knowing she didn't disappoint me, she sent me the money and thanked me.

The following day when I got to work, she didn't stop thanking me for how I helped her when she was urgently in need of help and I was the only person she thought of who would help without declining. Perhaps she had called some people who couldn't but thought of me to be in the position. I was elated and glad that I could help. The issue she had was resolved when she got her sim card registered the previous day.

This is something that makes me happy when I can be there for someone who needs my help and I don't hesitate to render my help when I can too.

It feels so good when we are able to render help to people when they called on us, on the other hand, it vex me so much, if I can not be of help, and I will not be able to do whatever I was doing anymore, and I would be thinking that, I am not trying at all, if I am performing good, I shouube able to help.
So, how did she do with the airtime after registering the line, did she sell the airtime or she used it.

Yea, it feels good helping people and seeing how it brings joy to them also.
I didn't ask how she did that since she only said it got resolved.

That young lady is most likely a Yoruba girl. Yoruba people are very good at appreciating, they can tank you for days just for a singular act. I am certain you must have felt good, helping people always have a way of bringing fulfillment to our souls.

Yes, she is. Somd yoruba people can appreciate even when they see you after weeks. Yea, I felt so good helping out. Thank you 😊

Helping people is a good thing. The creator values good deeds above all. We should all do competitive activities for people to cooperate. through which people will benefit and. Pray to God.

You are right. God appreciates and loves those who do good deeds to others.

you are most welcome my friend my pleasure

30k to an unregistered line?? I can't even imagine how she must have felt neither can I imagine how joyous she must have been when you sent her the money.
The joy that comes from helping other is indescribable not to talk of the smiles on the faces.

Loading airtime in excess on a registered could be frustrating, not to talk of an unregistered line. You put smile on her face by coming through for her in her time of need. Such a gesture can't be appreciated enough. Kudos.

Yes. Thank God for using me too. Thank you 😊

You are welcome.

Most people do not want to be helped but i think there isn't any way you wont need anyone's assistance in life. Helping is the greatest thing on earth cause i believe helping is love. You render to help to someone you love really and truly or probably care for . It was nice of you to show her love and help her when she needed you.
